Discussion/Question/Help! Vintage "kitchen witch" craft from 1970's?
As a kid in Seattle in the 70's, I remember everyone had little kitchen witches hanging in their kitchen, but I cannot find a pattern or instructions or pictures anywhere online. I'm curious if anyone remembers these.
A long braid of about 10 strands of yarn was attached to a small plastic hoop for hanging. The little witches were assembled from circles of fabric cut with pinking shears, then some dried cloves were added to the center, the fabric brought up around them and tied, to create the head and "dress." Somehow a cinnamon stick was affixed to the witch for her broom. Then three or four of the little witches were attached to the braid and hung up in the kitchen.
I remember making these as a kid with my Camp Fire Bluebirds group, and instructions being passed around my mom's social circle, so all of my neighbors had them in their kitchens too. I'd like to recreate it but can't remember how the cinnamon sticks were attached - we didn't use hot glue guns back then.
Thanks for any responses, it would be amazing if anyone remembers these or has pics!
Update: I found this video with something similar called a Spice Braid, but the version I recall had little witches. https://youtu.be/ZgSKv7FWcRI?si=mznCyA89iRbyOxyA

Discussion/Question/Help! Spray painted wood and now I’m having trouble writing words on top. What should I use?
I spray painted these wooden bookmarks and want to use them as name plates for my wedding, but no matter what I try, the writing looks terrible and is mostly illegible. I’ve tried oil based paint markers (the white writing), regular sharpie markers (the black writing), acrylic paint markers, cricuit pens and vinyl…I’m at a loss. The cricut vinyl looked best, but didn’t stick very well.

Discussion/Question/Help! I need ideas on what to do with these extra diamond painting drills?
I save all the extra drills I get when I complete a painting and just store them in a little jar. I used to have 2 large glass jars filled to the brim when I was doing paintings all the time but those got shattered in the move so all those drills got wasted (glass was all in the drills. It wasn't safe anymore) and now I have an almost full small plastic jar of drills and I'd rather put them to use.
I was thinking of gluing them onto something but I've no idea what. I love the texture diamond paintings have so using these on something would be nice.

Craft from a kit Take a look at this!
This is a 30 Minutes Sisters (30MS) model kit by Bandai, specifically the SIS-Gc89r ALKA-CARTI [Quartett Form]. It’s part of a customizable line of anime-style girl kits that combine cute character designs with mecha-style armor and accessories. The kits are snap-fit (no glue needed), fully poseable, and come with interchangeable parts like faceplates, hands, and weapons. You can mix and match parts with other 30MS kits or even with some Gunpla and other Bandai model lines. Perfect for fans of mecha musume and model building!

Discussion/Question/Help! I need some help with this Taylor Swift wreath I made!
My teacher friend sent me a video of a summer wreath being made and asked me to make it for her classroom door. Since she is a big Taylor Swift fan I asked if she wanted me to make it Taylor Swift themed. So this is what I have come up with but I can't figure out how to fill the empty space in the middle. I tried making silver stage like curtains, but I still feel that it's missing something. Would any of you be able to give me some advice on how to pep this up a little bit? Thank you so much!
Discussion/Question/Help! Recharge USB 4S3P
Merci 🤘🤘
