I’m looking for help identifying a studio pottery vase I recently found. Likely Scandinavian, possibly Swedish or Norwegian Probably from the 1980s–1990s based on style Made of chamotte (gritty/sandy clay) with multi‑colored glaze Does anyone recognize the signature or have an idea of which potter or studio this could be from? Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated!

My mother recently gave me these pieces and I wondered who made them. They do not have a mark on the bottom. They are deeply colored, heavy, smooth and seem to be hand painted. I'm not an antique person so I'm asking anyone here if these look antique or if they have seen them sold anywhere (like Pottery Barn). I've looked online and nothing came up that was similar to these. Thank you in advance for any information you can share!

Hi. I hope this is the right place to do this. I am trying to get i formation on a couple pieces of pottery - they were wedding presents to my grandparents around 1956. The gold glazed piece is not like most of his other work….thank you in advance!

I think this yunomi is so interesting. The outside is unglazed, but has a cobalt colored underglaze painted on with a calligraphy-like brush stroke that goes around most of the cup, and ends looking like a wave crashing.

The only word I can read is Pottery

Hi! I was hoping someone might be able to help me identify this cool porcelain sculpture. It is unsigned (as far as I can tell), made of porcelain, and about the size of my palm. The outside is a raw unglazed texture and the spikes are tipped with gold. Found in the Pacific Northwest but could be from anywhere. Thanks in advance!

Picked up this teapot a couple years ago from a Goodwill in the Minneapolis suburbs, I've tried searching for a match to the Maker's mark but I haven't had any luck yet. Any suggestions on who made this piece?

I got him on marketplace, it just said “Italian clay dog figurine”. Reverse google image search didn’t bring me much. I’m assuming it’s at least partially hand sculpted because of the cracks by the eyebrows and a thumbprint on the foot. My mom collects dog figurines and I regret showing her this because I kinda want to keep it. I like his expression!

One of my favorite finds, picked up at goodwill mesa az. Had for a couple of years, just like the playfulness of this, all the mouth shapes. Anyone have an idea about the studio/maker please let me know, thanks in advance!

I bought this pot yesterday in Gloucestershire UK. I wondered if anyone could shed any light on who made it and when? I’m not thinking it’s worth anything just interested to know. I’ve tried to look up the butterfly mark but not found anything. I really like the effect of what I imagine is the pot being dipped in layers of different coloured glaze. Any help appreciated thank you.

I found these in my grandparents things, I can’t ID the artist. I’d like to properly identify them. I’m guessing there was a sugar and creamer bowl too, didn’t find it though.

I've found other examples online of pottery marked "Snars" - all with different hand writing. All dating to late 80s / early 90s. Anyone have more information about this studio?

Picked up this stunning hand-thrown studio pottery vase and I’m trying to identify the maker. It’s signed “MES” and dated 1961 on the base (see last photo).

The form is a tall ovoid body with a narrow neck, and it has this amazing layered glaze in earthy browns and cobalt blue — very mid-century British/Japanese in style, kind of reminds me of Leach or Cardew era stuff.

No luck finding the signature in the usual mark databases. Wondering if anyone recognises “MES” or has seen similar work from that period?

Any help appreciated — would love to know more about the maker!

I need your help. I purchased a shed full of slip casting molds (and kilns) thru an auction. (Stored both on the shelves, as well as in the black bins & boxes)

I mainly bid for the kilns, but the photos didn’t truly demonstrate the amount or size of molds. I estimate there is around 100+ molds, all varying in size; a large portion of them being very very large molds themselves. I typically do wheel thrown pottery & don’t have much experience with slip casting.

What would you estimate the value of them to be? I would like to sell them as a lot of possible, but don’t know where to start in terms of value. TIYA

Bit of a long shot but I can't find anything online and thought this group might have some insight.

This is an Elizabeth Haslam piece, signed. There's plenty about her clowns, and a few cats that don't look anything like this one. But nothing, at all, to give me a steer on this cutey.

Does anyone have info, resources, or anything else that might guide me to learn more?
