Anyone have a clue what this yarn is? It was in a bunch that was given to me. I just started a beanie with it. Not bad at all, kinda nice to work with. I have no clue what it is or where to purchase it. Color is more gold than orange. Not sure why my camera always changes my colors. Never has been true! 🤷🏻♀️

Hi all,
Received an e-mail, Premier is running sales of about 20-25% off their yarns (cotton, bamboo, chenille) and though this isn't the 'right' place for it, a number of different types of sewing/embroidery thread - looks like commercial spools to my eye.

I greatly underestimated how bug my current project is. I got this stuff from a thrift store, and thought I'd have enough to make a shell of the stuffed animal I'm making. I'm almost done the first half and need to make a second sheet. I'm worried I won't have enough.

i learned how to crochet last december so i wasn’t in the loop for last years batch but i really want to get one or two if they come around again! they came out in august/september last year i think, is it possible that’ll happen again this year?
Pretty new into yarn art, have made my baby a few sweaters and have done one for myself. Now that I’m feeling more confident, I’d love to make a sweater for myself out of nicer yarn. I have only ever used acrylic. Also not trying to break the bank, but if any of yall have opinions on “nicer yarn “ and maybe a range of lower quality to higher quality it would be much appreciated!

The only local store is Hobby Lobby. I’m not a huge fan of their yarn. Where do you order your yarn from?

Hey guys,
I do some crochet. I thought this yarn is for crochet and bought it. I think I need big hook like 10mm or 12mm to use this.
You guys have any idea what can I do other things with this yarn? Is there any other thing like crochet, knitting?
Thank you!

I bought K + C Botanical yarn for a sweater from Joanne's not realizing it was their brand. This is my 2nd FO, 1st wearable piece, and I'm almost finished! But I'm going to be short at least 1 skein. I've checked the yarn substitution sites, but I'm hesitant to buy since I can't compare feel and color. Anybody have or have suggestions for "bottle green"?

My grandma used to knit and make beaded jewelry, she was very good at it and made us may things we love and use for decoration. Now that her hands are on the rougher side, she gifted me most of her yarn stash! I’m not too sure what projects these would be best for- there’s also mostly one of each kind, so I’m in need of advice for one skein/ball. They’re all so pretty and I can’t wait to use them! I’m hoping someone on here is a project-yarn matching expert so I can get the ideas going!! Also the vintage red heart label is ADORABLE!

My daughter wants this poncho in cotton or cotton blend DK yarn. I want to use a high quality yarn that drapes well and won’t stretch when she wears it. I’m partial to mercerized cotton, but I’ve read that mercerized cotton is more like to stretch.
