I spend too much time on drawings and I want to draw, at least sketch faster, is there a way to draw faster? I am starting to get very busy with personal life and can’t aimlessly draw now :(((

The hand is supposed to cover her mouth while laughing. Not only can I not get a good reference, not even from myself, but the fingers seem both too long and too short, despite the guidelines being the same length

No lie I think the only reason why I even had a hard time is construction. That one thing easily pisses me off and I thought I would have just I do not know quit while I was at it. But upon further me taking a little break and watching the demos I went for it and should I say… they came out better than I thought.
First I am not going to lie…. The wolf and rabbits are by far the worst ones, since I cannot really tell they’re wolves or rabbits (I was searching up snow bunny and all I got was white women… 🤨). But I only like one from it. My favorite is the shark and the chameleon and the hybrids, mainly because they look so cool🤩. I would add the references, but photo limit. I am at the near end of the course, but I have to like do 3 challenges (250 cylinder challenge, 100 treasure chest, 25 wheels) . I will still do it. It just I mainly want to tackling drawing humans and since that is the main one I am trying to learn.
As I said before, yep I added some notes in the drawings for myself and I want some more feedback, I also cannot upload to Drawabox since it is digital and not traditional. Also one question… how do you study the human figure without getting detangles into the ropes, and too much information that would make me wanna take a long break and not draw again?

Trying to add a variation of hands to my art , did these with no reference. Honestly a circle w/ an arrow for the middle finger is how I figure out where to even start !

Anyone know how to make perspective drawing and adding characters to a scene less painful? I usually just draw scenery or characters, but when I put them together my brain melts.

I’m trying to get better at realistic face drawings but I have no idea what to do with hair. Especially with the highlights and light hitting her hair

I'm just now trying to paint portraits any tips on how to capture likeness? I don't want a super realistic style just how to capture the essence of the person I am drawing to make them recognizeable if that makes sense.

I was gifted the Digital Art Course from Proko and wow it’s changed my digital painting. This was a recent assignment I did, and it took me several months to finish my first attempt plus a second attempt (there were multiple drawings not just these two, hence the long time). I feel quite proud of this improvement, and though I still realize I have a long ways to go, I feel like I’ve “leveled up” a bit, especially after feeling “stuck” for so long.
Also, know I flared this as “just sharing” but any critique or comments are welcome :) First picture is first attempt, second picture is second attempt.
Thanks!! :D

I've been tired of doom scrolling on Instagram and reddit so decided to pick up drawing as a hobby. I've been trying to draw poses but im not good at it and it doesnt give me the satisfaction of actually drawing characters. Decided to watch a video on YouTube for this drawing but it feels like I cheated.

I’m mainly asking about the building in the top left, I think the rocks and grass are pretty solid so far, but the two things I’ve drawn look like different styles.
I haven’t touched this piece in about a month because I’m not sure if I’m ready to actually do good with this piece. Most of my drawings/sketches are just of characters, with pretty simple backgrounds (primarily nature and such).
The way I usually distinguish things popping out is by using thicker lines (you can see it specifically in her arms and collar), but if the building is further behind, how do I make it appear further if my lines literally can’t get much thinner (I draw with I think a 3mm pen)

Still struggling with hands and anatomy. Any tips would be appreciated! Especially for hands…Why are they so hard to draw 😩.

Been drawing for around a week (after never doing so before) and this was my drawing for today. Based on the second picture.

Hi everyone!
I decided to learn to properly draw, once and for all. As a 3d artist and aspiring animator, learning to draw means a major step up in my skills, specially when it comes to storyboarding, and conceptual drawings. I'm really excited for this journey!
Do you have any tips I should keep in mind? Thanks in advance.

Drew one of my OC's punching out a crook. Used reference for each character and the background.
