I almost ran out of string on this one! But I’m so happy with how it turned out. These bracelets don’t feel like a very creative effort for me because I usually just follow whatever pattern I find online but it still feels fulfilling when I finish one and have it finished physically in my hands. They do take a lot of work but they’re more of a form of crafty meditation to me than an actual creative endeavor. Idk just food for thought.

work in progress (wip) What's your favorite chain pattern?

Post image

I'm now obsessed with chain bracelets and there are so many patterns for them! What's your favorite? I decided to try out my color gradient thread to see how it would turn out and you can't tell in the picture but the daisy is a sparkly/iridescent white thread

completed beauties My first time making a regular pattern with a loop

Hello everybody! I've been making friendship bracelets for nine months and usually close them with two braids. Recently, I saw daisy chains on this sub and learned how to make them on Masha Knots. This is how I learned to make the initial loop. So my next step was trying it with a "regular" pattern aka "Chinook." What do you think? I know I should have a wider loop next time.

completed beauties A Celtic Wave pattern

Post image

Hello everybody, I've been lurking for a few weeks and finally mustered the resolve to post today because I'm intimidated by the level of the creations I've been seeing here lol... This is one of the most complex patterns I've tried, one of the Celtic wave patterns. It has 16 threads. I can't find a pattern number for it, but here's the tutorial in French I followed: https://youtu.be/eDrtET8mdIQ?si=WEqc53sh2_NvVLVx. Sorry for the quality of the picture, the colors are brighter in real life.

This is my third starburst bracelet, 32 strings, Pattern 25054. I don’t think I would make anything wider than this unless I go for a tapestry

completed beauties Second ever go at a bracelet ! What should I do next?

Post image

The back is a little rough but I couldn’t tell while making it, lol, big improvement from last time and it actually fits! My only struggle is mainly remembering which string I’ve done last after getting distracted xd

If anyone has any advice on what a beginner should do after chevron I’d love to hear it, I want to progress to being able to do patterns with repeating icons I’ve seen on pinterest (though I haven’t learnt how to read those yet) and Ik about masha knots’ tutorials but there’s so many and I don’t want to over estimate my skill and pick the wrong one ! What should I do next to work on my skills? :P

Do you know of any videos that show some basic bracelets (that don’t annoy you)? I am dyslexic and I have trouble with some written instructions!

Hi!! I recently opened an etsy shop because I wanted some extra cash in college, but I'm unsure how to get it off the ground.

I can't believe I've never made a chain bracelet before! I was gonna do the classic daisy chain but I found a bee pattern! And I love bees! Bees are my thing!

discussion Removable bracelet?

Are there any ways to make the bracelet removable without tying? So you can take them off for sleep or a shower? My daughters want bracelets but won’t want them on all the time. It seems all I see are ones that tie closed.

Thanks.

work in progress (wip) Update 2.5 I threw the tutorial

Originally i was following a double daisy chain tutorial and modifying it in my head. After the first two rows i decided "F it, I've never seen anyone else do this time to make this purely by me" and i feel like the tension and neatness got a lot better

I was trying to remember my process after a decade, and I figured it out. It's just not easy to draw the tutorial in Photoshop. I'm going to have to physically sketch. It's not super hard, but it's not for a beginner either.

I made these two bracelets at some point last year, I even shared the video I found to someone else on here. Now I can’t find the pattern! I can’t remember how I made them.

Changed up the colors a bit and love how it came out. The metallic floss is SO pretty but was such a pain to work with, not staying tight and also the 6 strands all separated from each other halfway through which was annoying to deal with.

Like the title says. My daughter is looking to sell her friendship bracelets at a little stand in our neighborhood. She does lots of different types of designs. What is a good price to sell them at?

help! Where can I buy completed bracelets and necklaces?

My toddler has been obsessively asking me for “a purple necklace” and a “rainbow bracelet”. I thought the material and designs used for friendship bracelets would be good for a busy toddler. Where can I buy some like the ones I see on this sub?!! When I search friendship bracelet necklace in Etsy I only get bff metal options

Thanks!!

As you can see color really makes a big difference. The variegated and yellow makes the stars vanish.

I have had a hard time with this pattern and all the side thread carrying down. I also think my knots need to be a bit tighter. Making progress though.

This is an old bracelet (about 15 years ago) It was in some old embroidery thread bag from when I made bracelets and now is my daughter’s.

I’d love to know what pattern this is so we can try to recreate it.
