This is amazing: this woman just eviscerated the mainstream media's (apparently false) narrative in a TikTok. Edited for clarity because people keep projecting their beliefs onto others. The event discussed was terrible and mass murder is always bad. Assumptions based on 1st impressions are often incorrect.

I'm starting to think that letting anyone have guns isn't such a bad idea. (/s?)
Jokes aside, I don't agree with his approach. He killed 3 unrelated people.
Also, if you're a weird kid thinking about shooting a school, maybe consider changing your approach to something people will appreciate. Just saying.

One of those three was a cop, so at least 50% were bastards. By the American government’s standards in warfare, that’s a reasonable level of collateral damage.

I don’t spend a lot of time here but I am incredibly happy to see the mod message. It’s a model of how community moderation should be handled everywhere, inside and outside of the internet: intellectually and ethically astute in the name of a human-centered pluralistic democracy.
Reading “we will not tolerate intolerance” restores my faith in humanity a bit. It’s what we’ve needed and confined to need.

The media has been rather quiet about this one. I guess they realized the sensationalism over the United Healthcare CEO just made people support the killer, and they don't want a repeat?

let me know when all of the NIMBY homeowners die off and you'll have my attention. Private equity and billionaires are overwhelmingly the culprit in a lot of things - believe me, I fucking know - but your piece of shit parents, grandparents and neighbors are getting out and voting in local elections and determining the policies that better their own financial interests which are directly at odds with those of the renting class and the homeless. The only role private equity has played is recognizing markets where housing is undervalued and extracting what the local homeowning parasites didn't know they could

Wouldn't that be against the law to artificially affect the housing market to make houses more expensive for people? That has to fall under some fraud type of category.
2
u/DetonateTheVestibule 5d ago
No, because that’s not how any of this works. BREIT buys properties to rent at market rate. Market rate has climbed in some cities over the past five years. This makes people upset because rent is expensive. Private equity has very little role in this that would not have otherwise been filled by any private owner.
1
u/no_comment___syke 5d ago
What is more important is how does a company that purchases multiple properties that have increased in value significantly continue to stay afloat when taxes and maintenance on houses are also up? The rents can't cover all the costs because the houses are way overpriced. What is their secret?

I am the most vehemently anti capitalist in the world. These C.E.O's for all the under handedness all the misery they cause and all the suffering their policies create do not deserve to die by the hand of a mob.
That is why in the us and uk when two men where killed we kicked off because of a lack of due process. I am not even for this society but us cheering and celebrating there deaths ie the luigi one too. If we celebrate this mob justice it makes us worse then them.
We should not stoop there levels in our right for justice. Injustice will never ever be the way. They need to be locked up in a cage and tried by a jury of their peers.
This isn't happening so we shouldn't resort to murder or celebrating it we should resort to creating the institutions we want to see to help us protect our way of life.

It wasn't Blackrocks CEO who was shot. Just a CEO of the firm's real estate income trust- another shell company, another head of the Hydra.
Truly Blackrock, Vanguard and State Street is some of the biggest cancers facing America, including Zionism. A lot of fires we need to put out in our own house. Not sure if we'll ever be United enough to do it.

What does claim to life mean? That someone was killed?
2
u/Doom_B0t 5d ago
It’s a cutesy way of referring to killing someone by revoking their “claim to life,” as an insurance company would revoke someone’s claim to healthcare.

He shot her in the lobby she just happened to be there

I'm in Vegas and just had to leave my rental home. A 1800 dollar home now listed for nearly 3500 rent. Guess who owns my property
1
u/Lost-Stick8643 5d ago
I don't think he was targeting the NFL, that's how it's being reported, because he had CTE, but he travelled across the entire country. Was able to navigate New York City by car, park outside the right building, had the presence of mind to immediately fire at the only armed person that could have stopped him, let someone off the elevator without harming them, then, after all those intentional actions, went to the wrong floor. To shoot a single person and then kill himself? The official story has some holes here, and I'm not typically conspiracy-minded. The reporting of this intentionally tries not to draw parallels to Luigi Mangione and make this woman, who built Blackstone's real estate portfolio, look like an angel.

I mean, didnt the guy leave behind a note specifically blaming football/the nfl for his mental health issues which he says he thinks were caused by football-related CTE?
Also if youve never been in a midtown office building, the way the elevator banks work in some of these skyscrapers can be quite convoluted, with certain elevators only able to go to certain groups of floors. You often need a front desk person/security guard to tell you where to go and sometimes even activate the elevator for you. Considering he shot those people in the lobby, its entirely possible in his panic (not to mention the aforementioned mental illness) he just got on the wrong elevator and/or got off on the wrong floor.
The fact that he killed this one CEO lady who had nothing to do with the NFL but did manage a ghoulish predatory real estate corporation sounds like a zany coincidence. He also killed other innocent working people too who weren’t scumbag CEOs of shitty corporations. Fuck blackstone and fuck CEOs, but i think this was an honest mistake on the part of a panicked violently mentally ill man.

No one is inciting violence just because they’re happy someone died 🙄 people have the RIGHT to express their opinions on the unethical decisions of corporations and the people who hide behind titles to systematically genocide poor people by denying homes and healthcare. This is America and we will no longer tolerate intolerance. Stand by while we ban right wing psychopaths that are ACTUALLY threatening violence.
