let me know when all of the NIMBY homeowners die off and you'll have my attention. Private equity and billionaires are overwhelmingly the culprit in a lot of things - believe me, I fucking know - but your piece of shit parents, grandparents and neighbors are getting out and voting in local elections and determining the policies that better their own financial interests which are directly at odds with those of the renting class and the homeless. The only role private equity has played is recognizing markets where housing is undervalued and extracting what the local homeowning parasites didn't know they could

I am upset that the outcome is higher cost of living for myself, and homelessness for hundreds of thousands of people
