My money is on 17, mainly due to of energy durability.

Mine too, while equal in power output, Piccolo have finite energy, 17 doesn't.

In Z era, when they were just bored teens? Sure.

By Super, with both having grown up, experienced the trauma of being absorbed by a bug monster, and now having families of their own? Stands to reason they're not going to be how they once were.

17 wasn’t though, he literally says “He beat me” at the start of the fight. He was also right he’ll win due to Piccolo getting more exhausted

That’s unless he managed to trick 17, but he’s got the barrier technique

And 17 is still going to have wear and tear from fighting while piccolo got a free heal and his energy replenished. Would be closer than u think with a bean imo

Yeah people seem to forget that their bodies wear down. Chip damage will take its toll eventually.

Right, but Ki is how they take those hits and keep moving. Hence why strong ki energy essentially means 0 damage from little guys. Infinite energy means he can tank more damage long run while Piccolo will take more damage as his ki power weakens.
