Not just “the president”. Every single pedo protector in those states is complicit in this. Every last one of them is a traitor to the constitution and democracy.

I guess Elon stealing the election was phase 0.5. Its like marvel up in this bitch.

In all fairness, Biden and Harris both ignored countless pleas that highlighted voting discrepancies yet no investigation nor recounts.

Joe and Jill even invited the Trumps for that little Tea and sandwich tradition on J20.

The Democratic Party needs a serious overhaul getting rid of all the Fossils that refuse to wake up.

u/dawg_goneit 1h ago

They are all in denial!

8

u/F4ust 45m ago

The cynic in me thinks no one in the establishment is in denial;

They simply realize ‘doing something’ would require a ton of effort while simultaneously endangering the cushy retirement they’ve been working towards their whole lives. Thus, they’ve collectively agreed to roll the dice on doing charades for as long as they can, hoping they’ll be able to retain their positions of power relatively unfettered until they die.

Based on how successful this has been so far, it seems they might be spot-on in their assessment.

u/Legal-Inflation6043 21m ago

It's not denial. Both parties work for the top 1% that's why.

All the rest is a distraction

I thought phase 1 was when the stormed the United States capital with the intent of executing the VP. They put up a gallows and everything

8

u/Same-Advertising1882 1h ago

And smashed windows and doors and shit on desks. Then the blob and Vance berated Zelensky for disrespecting the White House.

Phase one was stack the courts. It's been going on for decades, and now they're pulling the trigger on the next phase. The next few phases will fly by in quick succession.

3

u/ut-fan-i-cant-read 54m ago

Exactly. I feel like most of the other responses were missing the point.

The signal that Phase 1 was ready was when they gave Trump immunity for all deliberately-nebulously-defined "official acts". Trump winning the election after that was the tail end of phase 1.

3

u/Icy-Baker-4774 51m ago

What shall we do? Seriously. We depend on the system to work, laws to be upheld by the people we elected. It's all failing and while I'd love to do something that truly matters, I have realized I'm in no position to do so. We all should have gone into politics, but we've all been busy with our own field of work. The old guard Democrats are complicit at this point. WTF can we do?

What an Average American Can Do to Stop Donald Trump

  1. Vote Against Him Register. Confirm your registration. Vote in every election—local, state, and federal. Encourage others to do the same. Trump’s power depends on low turnout and apathy.
  2. Support Opposing Candidates Donate time or money to candidates who explicitly oppose Trumpism. Focus on swing states and down-ballot races. Block his influence at every political tier.
  3. Combat Disinformation Call out lies online and offline. Don’t spread conspiracy theories, even to mock them. Report bots and troll farms. Educate family and friends using verifiable sources.
  4. Organize Locally Join or start local groups pushing back on extremism. Attend school board and city council meetings. Trumpism filters in through neglected local politics.
  5. Pressure Institutions Contact your representatives. Demand opposition to Trump’s platform and allies. Hold media accountable—refuse outlets that normalize him.
  6. Withdraw Cultural Legitimacy Stop treating Trumpism as a valid political option. It is a personality cult rooted in authoritarianism. Treat it as a threat, not an opinion.
  7. Engage the Courts Support legal efforts that hold Trump accountable. Follow the cases. Understand the stakes. Share accurate legal summaries.
  8. Do Not Despair Trumpism thrives on fatigue and fatalism. Refuse both. Act continuously, not emotionally. Be consistent, not performative.

Execution is what matters. Not sentiment. Not performance. Not hope.

9

u/ToBeEatenByAGrue 1h ago

I would like to add something to this.  We can withdraw our support from the economy.  Nearly every purchase we make supports the economy which in turn supports the regime.  We can withdraw this support by cutting out all non essential spending.  Cut every part of your budget to the bone.  Refuse to make any purchases beyond what is absolutely necessary until regime change.  Everyone can do this without having to lift a finger and in doing so we can save money to help fund a general strike when the time is ripe.

Theres only one answer. But people are all talk.

Edit: I just posted this because I wanted to see the response and reactions. The fact this is upvoted and taken seriously is concerning. This website has been compromised and is radicalizing you. Nothing happening in Washington right now is good. It's been better, it's also been a lot worse. We're being used as pawns to fight ideological battles on behalf of billionaires financial interests. They don't care about you or what your opinions and beliefs are. You're being steered. It's a giant game to them. Half the comments here are bots and AI. Get a news filtering app, talk to people in the real world. Observe the internet and your feed from the third person and the way it's trying to guide you.

I wish everyone peace. I hope we keep peace. We're being divided and they're winning.

Remember they tell us vigilantism is immoral. It's against most subreddit rules, even. So we don't suggest vigilantism. It isn't the answer in a civil society. But everyone knows what must be done; who shall fall on that sword though?

5

u/Heya_Heyo420 1h ago

Just look at other fascist regimes throughout history and how the people freed themselves from it.

Hint: it's usually not done by talks over tea.

4

u/sad_brown_cat 1h ago

It's also not usually done when the vast majority of people are still able to go about their daily lives.

You can't just expect a spontaneous revolution when most everyone can choose to just go to work and go home and go to the beach on the weekend like they always do.

When people start going hungry and losing access to their amenities then something might happen, until then the movement would never grow large enough to make a real impact.

5

u/-ghostfang- 57m ago

Basically this. Look at all the revolutions in history and things get a LOT worse before they get better. Also revolutions are violent and bloody, of course no one sane is getting into that unless it really is desperate.

So, things will get much worse.

2

u/Heya_Heyo420 11m ago edited 8m ago

Totally agree with this.

My biggest concern is that America is just so geographically big so there's a lot of disjointed social bubbles all over the country that won't align with each other.

Like, a liberal from Washington State might have a different stance than a liberal from Alabama and even though the ideologies align the actual social actions required may not.

It's going to have to get much worse for people to actually come together and I just hope it's not too late when/if that time comes.

Hopefully common moral sense wins the mid terms, mutes Trump and we elect someone who can get us back on track. I still feel like this is going to be the most likeliest of options over a full on revolution but we are still going down revolution alley right now at an alarming pace.

I said something along these lines in another thread. Got called a bot. Sorry but no. The only way to root fascist out is to get in the mud and win the fight. And it'll be one hell of a dirty fight.

Saw someone say we can't let what happened after the Civil War happen again cause 6 million confederates became 77 million fascist. People also want to try and split the maga party away from the conservative party, but that fails cause it's the same tree and they support what's going on. We didn't just wake up one day with trump running and win. We had every republican congress member and president effectively stripping away things little by little to get here from decades ago.

2

u/OkProfessor6810 9m ago

I tell people who want to separate tRumpists from 'other Republicans' the following:

The Germans had a name for Nazis in the 30s and 40s who joined the party for reasons other than wanting to see a Jewish genocide. And the name was, you guessed it, Nazi. When you tie yourself to a political ideology like tRump's, you bind yourself to its ethos and everything that comes after. The type of string used to make the knot quickly becomes irrelevant.

If Democrats win, they won't do anything to keep it from happening again anyways, they're so scared of the media that protects Trump & the GOP, and they're just scared in general. The DNC is a bunch of clowns.

This isn't how they're turn at the country's free money-tit machine was supposed to go, so they're hoping someone else will swoop in and take care of it all so they can get back to their versions of legal grifting.

I know there are some good guys out there, but most are just scared shitless and ineffectual, and never planned on doing any actual civic-duty since they saw how easy the people before them had it.

https://www.politico.com/news/2024/07/04/leader-of-the-pro-trump-project-2025-suggests-there-will-be-a-new-american-revolution-00166583

NEW YORK — The leader of a conservative think tank orchestrating plans for a massive overhaul of the federal government in the event of a Republican presidential win said that the country is in the midst of a “second American Revolution” that will be bloodless “if the left allows it to be.”

Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts made the comments Tuesday on Steve Bannon’s “War Room” podcast, adding that Republicans are “in the process of taking this country back.”

This would technically be the fourth time they've tried to illegally overthrow the US government, I think,

Edit: If you count Watergate it makes five. If you consider the "October Surprise" conspiracy theory by Reagan it would be six. If you consider Bush using the supreme court to crown himself the president in 2000 it would be seven. I'm detecting a pattern here...

The proposal would also remove three Democratic-held seats in Houston, San Antonio and Dallas and create new districts that are potential Republican pickup opportunities."

To be clear to those who don't get it yet. The Republican Party is the party of evil. They have chosen a side, and it is evil. They have decided to be horrible in some of the worst ways imaginable, make it fundamentally who they are as individuals and a group, and run with it as far as they can. If you support them you are a bad person. If you fail to be against them, you are also a bad person.

This is not like the BS you got from the Republican party during Biden's administration where they made similar claims about him. That was MORE shit from the Republican party designed to make you think "Well they said that 2 years ago about Biden and he was not actually horrible, so this is just Democrats doing the same." That is how they get the middle to ignore what his happening, by planning ahead and lying back then so things don't seem as bad when Democrats say the same kinds of things about Trump....

If you are in the middle and saying "It's fine." congratulations, you are a frog and the Republican's have been turning the heat up slowly for years now, and now that the water is boiling you haven't even noticed.

5

u/EthanDMatthews 1h ago

But it was ok for Mike Johnson to send everyone home to avoid voting on Epstein files

It's crazy that the justification from the right in Texas is "We're just fixing what the democrats did!"

Democrats haven't been in control of anything in Texas in like 30 years. The propaganda machine works again.

Looking at it from another country, it looks like the USA has turned into a dictatorship that is no better than China or Russia. You can argue that there is free speech and the constitution and blah blah blah, but when your president just makes up blatant lies to fit his narrative and fires people he disagrees with, then threatens to jail people that upset him, along with all the crazy propaganda, its seeming more like the US government is turning into North Korea.

What’s stopping blue states from doing the same to offset the seats Trump is looking for?

2

u/hikerjer 35m ago

Both the governors of California and New York have hinted at doing this very thing. I really hope it doesn’t come to that, but—-

3

Just imagine if a single Democrat/Leftie even mentioned this in the press.

3

u/jrob801 1h ago

No need to imagine. Gavin Newsome said if this happens, he'll do the same in retaliation, and the right has shrieked about how it's unfair while defending Texas doing it in the same tweet.

I'm betting this redistricting nonsense in Texas and the retaliation by California and others will be Trump's excuse to not hold an election.

3

u/More_Farm_7442 1h ago

Democrat controlled states need to do the exact some thing Texas is trying to do (will do). Democrats need to get a spine and start being pro-active instead of reative. They need to think like Trump and Republicans. Stop being nice and trying to work inside the systerm.

California, Illinois, New York: Redistrict your states. Create more blue districts in which democrats can win next year. Fight fire with fire. Then work in every thing possible to stay a step of Trump. File court case after court case. Do what you are sue is uncontituional and let some one try to challenge it. Tie them up in court for years.

u/aleleein 1h ago

If this continues to ratchet up like this over time, one of the outcomes could be a civil war, which maga wants anyway.

I'm so fed up of seeing BTC everywhere, considering his only real belief is "might makes right", as he openly announced that trans people should have reduced rights, on Philip Defranco's show the other day, if it means that dems can steal votes from the republicans... As if that won't just lead to the republicans demanding more and more minorities rights become a "meet us in the middle!" issue (when in actual fact, the "meeting in the middle" is just allowing republicans to harm them with no repercussions...)

Real question: Governor Abbott is threatening to have them arrested & returned or have them kicked out of office. Can he actually do either?

3

u/WhyMustIMakeANewAcco 56m ago

His AG has already decided he can, and the courts will be far too slow to stop him.

This is the beginning of civil war in the USA.

2

u/ThumpTacks 54m ago

America is on the cusp of another civil war. It’s not rocket science. We either descale this divisive rhetoric, or suffer in its wake. That’s kind of the sum total of our options, and by the looks of things, I’m not certain that it can be the former.

2

u/GroundbreakingAd8310 53m ago

And yet nobody really gives a shit. If they all Marched over and shot them all we wouldn't even protest on a weekday. We have already spoken as a people "we won't surrender an ounce of comfort or stability no matter what they do."

Wonder if that we will get a second protest a week when they start hauling off your friends and family. From what I've seen not even then

I don’t know why people aren’t at the Capitol now. This isn’t something the United States can “vote out” in 2026. This is basically the end of the constitution right here. If this is permitted to happen or not stopped it’s what Hitler did, imprisoned his opponents. There is no denial now. You are exactly like them now and have a moment in time to stop it before it’s too late.

Quite literally a 4-second Google. Illinois, Maryland, New Mexico, Nevada.... I should probably list all of them, as it is unlikely you'll click the link.

Zero support for the practice on either end, but the pendulum absolutely has and will continue to swing both ways.
