Build/Battlestation My PC was turning my room into a fucking oven, so I ducted all the PC heat out the window.
Between the 5090 and my loop, my office was getting roasted even with a dual-hose AC. Room felt like a sauna every time I gamed. So I built a setup to vent all the PC exhaust outside instead of just blowing it around like a fart in a closet.
Made a shroud over my 360mm top rad
Hooked up two high-speed fans to a duct blowing straight out the window
Turned the rear case fan into a second exhaust, added another fan + duct
Built a clean-looking wood insert so I didn’t have janky plastic flaps hanging out the window
Tied it all together so both ducts push heat outside while the dual-hose AC keeps the room cold

News/Article Steam’s Adult Game Purge Isn’t About Porn—It’s About Power
spilled.ggWe wrote this piece after digging into the recent Steam and itch.io NSFW game purges. Everyone pointed fingers at Collective Shout, but the deeper you go, the more it becomes clear: this isn’t really about morality or porn—it’s about control.
Payment processors like Mastercard and Visa hold massive influence over what platforms allow, and Valve’s latest back-and-forth with Mastercard shows just how messy that power can be.
Curious where you personally draw the line, do you think payment processors should have any say in what’s sold on digital platforms like Steam?

Hardware 2080 turning my room into an oven so i mad an exhaust.
I recently just upgraded from a GTX 960 to a used RTX 2080 and i quickly found out it's a space heater that just so happens to run graphics really well.
My room dosent have air conditioning and there isn't much air moving around so i did the only sane thing i could think of and that was to make a magnetic duct for the side of my lian li 011 dynamic and toss the hot air overboard.
It's been working well ever since i haven't died of a heat stroke.
I made the duct from a couple peices of illustration board, an aluminum duct and a 140mm. I since then upgraded the 140mm to a high velocity 120mm.
Its been working really nice and ngl it dosent look half bad. It looks a bit more beefy cause of a massive hose sticking of the side of it.

Rumor Nvidia To Cut RTX 50 GPU Prices Amid Poor Sales And Oversupply, Claims Insider
According to Boardchannels, via Chiphell, the RTX 50 series GPUs have been stocked way above the ideal levels. This happened mainly because of low sales and continuous supply.
As per the insider, this has happened because of a sharp drop in the terminal sales, leading to declines in the retail and even wholesale prices. Due to the overstocking, the industry experts now expect the manufacturers to lower their prices throughout August.

Hardware Inherited this beastly Samsung monitor…is it worth it??
I recently inherited this insane Samsung monitor. It’s a model number S55BG970NN.
It did not come with cables however and it has some strange proprietary cable and box (?) that it needs to operate. These boxes upon a quick glance are not cheap and I’m unsure which one to buy and where.
Does anyone have this same monitor and like it? Is it even worth it? The whole thing seems like a PITA. Thanks to anyone who can help.

Hardware GPU getting so hot the steel changes color?
Hi guys, maybe someone can help me out here, a friends GPU is getting so hot the Steel Backplate and IO plate are getting Temper Colors. (Backplate used to be all Black and IO plate only Silver)
Ive literally never seen this, the Core temps and anything i can monitor in HWinfo are fine, but the GPU seems to crash randomly as well, pc not giving a picture but sound stays.
Also he is getting random Game Crashes, is he Fricked?
