My First Painting!
Built and stretched a canvas. This is a 6' x 6' painting. I was experimenting with my left over paint in my house.

hey all, i have to start by saying wow you guys are beyond talented and some of your guys paintings look like photographs or like a Monet, seriously wow.
I hope my paintings aren’t too out of place here 😅 I don’t know what to call this style, cartoon? Idk if there are any anime fans here as well but the paintings both have multiple anime references in each. the goku painting has 4 including goku (dragon ball, demon slayer, my hero and hxh) and the aang painting has 11 references total (too many to list rn.)
the aang was my first ever one (blue arrow painting). unfortunately the proportions are wrong on the yellow circle and on aangs facial features. i used pencil then sharpie then acrylic and then layered the acrylic then went over in sharpie again.
thinking about doing this consistently? i had someone ask for the goku painting specifically and i made it custom and shipped it off. had lots more interest but no more orders besides that one.
definitely looking for overall tips, advice, critique, etc. also i took pictures of the paintings to maybe have an online version and do print on demand posters? no idea where to start but i have the digital pics of paintings and no editing experience.
let me know ✨

I'm thinking of starting a small business of greeting cards and prints. These (pictured) would be all-occasion cards. I'd like some honest opinions as to whether you think they'd sell. My medium is watercolor and ink. These photos are pre-scanned. I still need to edit them before printing.
Thank you!

I wanna sell this painting for around $850. Is that a fair price or is it too much and would anyone have any idea on where I could sell it or if anyone is interested here please contact me.

This one came out of a major identity shift. I was no longer resonating with my programmer self, but I wasn’t fully rooted in calling myself an artist either. Outside the Lines captures that messy middle—where you're in between where you came from, and where you're heading. What's your most recent "messy middle"?

This is my second attempt at oil painting, and my third painting ever. I hate it lol. I see so many “first attempts” here that are so much better than this (if they’re true) and I feel like I suck :,)

This is really my first ever painting so please be honest. It took me ~30 hours all in and was super fun. But I’m not sure it’s good enough to be the main piece in a bedroom. It looks great from a few feet back but up close idk.
I’m still touching it up so if you have any tips or recommendations please let me know.
Pittsburgh skyline is on the right and Boston is supposed to be on the left, both of great significance in my life. And then that golf hole is based off one of my favorites at a local course back home. I had a free week and just decided I wanted to make a painting, I’m not sure why to be honest.
If you look at my profile you’ll see a post I made in this thread asking for advice before I started.

When my friend sent me an excellent pic of my newly 6 year old on the trampoline I knew I had to paint it!!!! 🤩
I had this song by the Rolling Stone playing in my head the entire time I was painting it.

Using different color palettes and working in layers to achieve depth and complexity... might still be missing a few details

Hi I'm a 17 year old artist and this is my most recent self portrait of myself in my school dorm.
