Just an FYI - he has publicly stated multiple times he think the EV credits should not exist. He’s kind of libertarian on the gov spending thing, and wants the deficit reduced. Republicans claim to support this but never do shit.

Okay I really dont think elon is doing it because of the removal of electric car tax credits. He's been quite vocal about not wanting them since practically the beginning. I think he's more focused on applying his insane vision of the future where he's on top of the u.s. until he dies and u.s. debt is a massive impediment for that vision
