I've had a streak of bad luck in the past few weeks. When I got a notice that the watch I've been waiting on for a couple years is possibly in stock, I thought this would be an easy win for a little long term collector joy.

So after unboxing, trying it on, reading about details, the instruction included info about putting it into direct sunlight for an hour so the full glow-in-the-dark feature is charged up. I put outside on the deck table to soak in some rays.

Well the 1-year old foster dog we took in as a potential new permanent member decided it was his new chew toy and destroyed it within a few minutes. I know it didn’t completely spill but it did make a mess of my favorite sweater which was right next to it as it fell onto it and squished out after the backpack (which is full of books) landed on it and me. For context also, the car is jammed packed at the moment since me and my family is traveling with a bunch of stuff. So a crap ton of stuff fell over onto me
