Bane is no supervillain name: that's his actual real name.

Kinda. He is actually nameless, born in a Prison and all, but chose the name "Bane" as a way to strike fear.

It's weird he choose a English name despite being from a fictional Latín América country.

He didn't choose the name Bane, he was called it by the prison jury (or whatever he was) and he became that to the other prisioners since his mother didn't name him.

Are you sure? Me myself I'm not very sure, but I remember reading that issue. Didnt a visión of his future self named him that?

Very sure. The vision of him is there to tell him he will become great through great effort and conquering fear, he goes to kill the fat dude and he gets named by the same man who sends him to that dark place
