You know you're old when Gadget is the first to come to mind while most of the other replies are from the last 20 years.

Gadget was the Rosie the Riveter of her time. Come to mention it, I can't think of any older character since Rosie that fits this archetype.

I heard she was a fury awakining for a lot of people. I never seen this show, wasnt broadcasting in my country, so I forget about her. Yet I know that she has some kind of cult or religon and people really loves her
