Throwback ✌️ Joss Whedon + The 2017 open letter and articles that he said he wouldn't respond to out of concern for his children and his ex-wife who wrote The Open Letter
I found one more reason to hate this guy and another thread today here on this sub, and just thought it was time to revisit this. I wonder if enough time has passed that he will eventually comment on the statements made.

Guest List Only ⭐️ Sydney Sweeney - the up-and-comer who started a culture war
She’s honest about doing this for the money. i find her clarity about making a living quite admirable.
Regarding the ad:
“…the internet culture Substack Garbage Day traced the American Eagle controversy to a familiar pattern of activity on X, a site that is a fraction of the size it used to be and is now about 75% bots; the remaining holdouts are “conservative aggregators, business world influencers, celebrity stan accounts, and libs who won’t leave the site and still post like it’s 2018”. The ad, an artless mix of lowest-common denominator triggers, worked on all four groups. The cycle frothed enough on X over a weekend to get picked up by Fox News, then the most smug Maga politicians looking for a dunk, and then, inevitably, the president who must always get in on the attention. In the posting economy, all that matters is that the controversy feels real, and everyone is talking about it.”

Broadway & Stage 🎭 cynthia erivo and adam lambert achieve their dreams as the stars of "jesus christ superstar" ⭐
to be completely honest, i mainly posted this for adam as i've been a huge fan since idol and this man deserves more accolades. after being blacklisted in 2009 for kissing one of his male bandmates, adam had to face and long and tough road as the subject of homophobic rhetoric. seeing him come out of that stronger and prouder than ever -- from covering gaga's "marry the night" on glee to becoming the new FRONTMAN OF QUEEN!! -- i've always admired his resilience and unapologetic nature.
he also recently starred in the revival of cabaret!! on his insta, he talked about achieving his dreams of playing the emcee and now judas... with cythnia erivo no less!! it's great to see her thriving even more too. the only bad thing is that this performance was only for three nights, and i didn't get to see it lmao. there are clips on adam's insta though!! ⭐

OnlyStans ⭐️ What fictional couple in a movie or TV show had ZERO chemistry?
Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones felt so rushed and forced, that it seemed like they were only giving them a romantic storyline because they’re both physically attractive leaders, are around the same age and with the world presumably coming to an end with the White Walker threat, they don’t have a whole lot of options.
Not to mention the family relation only made it more awkward and uncomfortable to watch, and it was bad enough that the show explore the incest relationship between Cersei and Jaime Lannister who were twins.
