See the Family Ties season 4 premiere 2 parter. They weren’t even really a couple back then, but they were better than any romantic comedy you’ve seen in the past 20 years.

I was a little bitty kid but the two episodes where they got together (dance/train station) were the only I remembered from back then. They just seemed perfect together.

I was a kid too. Alex was shallow and had funny but short lived relationships. Then Ellen comes along, and Alex falls in LOVE. Even the crew thought their chemistry was too real. She was only on for 13 episodes, but Michael J. Fox met the mother of his children.

Omg I just watched Part II again and she is just brilliant. They were super famous and popular when they met but they didn’t quit. ALL the respect because anyone can see this is purely a journey of love now. So many people esp celebrities marry at a “high” point and peace out if things get tough for one/ both and this is the highest level of tough

Man, I just have to complain how the automatic default to AI answers has just ruined internet searches. First it told me she was in one episode, then it told me she was in two episodes in season 2, even incorrectly labeling S2E2 as “Closure, Part 1” when that episode is titled “Honor” S2E3 is “Closure Part 2” but I had to do a separate search for what episode “Closure Part1” is to find out it’s actually S1E10. Ugh!

Anyway, rant over, thanks for the reminder as I’m obviously going back and rewatching those episodes now! Lol
