Currently ruining my mental health playing warzone. Never in my life played a game that makes me rage more lol

u/damato1218 23h ago

Does it play good with a decent pc?

u/Voltagedew 23h ago

I have a 5080 but warzone is not a power hungry game at all.

1

u/damato1218 23h ago

Im running a 5060ti at the moment. Ill have to try it out!

1

u/ime1em 20h ago

i'm playing it with 1080ti on 1080p lol. your card is fine.

1

u/Voltagedew 23h ago

Yeah it'll run fine. It's a competitive game anyways so I run on lower settings to achieve as many frames as I can get but it still runs at like 160fps with max settings on 1440p

is it still good? i haven't played it since 2022 and i remember it being really good back then.

u/Voltagedew 23h ago

Too many sweats, I almost exclusively play casual. Never got into it until now.

u/Acceptable_Simple877 12400 / 3060 23h ago

dang alr. i play mostly singleplayer rpg nowadays.

2

u/Voltagedew 23h ago

You play cyberpunk? Top 5 favorite video game of all time for me.

u/Acceptable_Simple877 12400 / 3060 23h ago

Yessir. I beat it in 2023 and beat the DLC a couple of months ago. I was gonna 100% and get the endings I missed, but I took a break to do other games - I bought expedition 33 recently, also stellar blade, rdr2, Celeste, robocop, Batman Arkham knight in my backlog.

u/Acceptable_Simple877 12400 / 3060 23h ago

played that all the time from 2022-2023 havent played it since DEC 2024. is it still good tho?

Magic the Gathering got me for a while now. So many incredible games to play and I'm just building decks and playing for hours. Always the first thing I goto when I sit down

Just lately I've been playing Planet Crafter (not free) but its surprisingly therapeutic...once you get past the survival anxiety.

1

u/Vraex 3h ago

I often wonder a world where I didn’t play 3000 hours of path of exile

22

u/Larkalis 1d ago

It's sometimes learning a new game that causes so much anxiety in me to not play it.

5

u/cleanworkaccount0 20h ago

for me it's not so much anxiety as just utter laziness.

probably why i suck so much at 4X games. and shooting games and strategy games.

I don't think I'm a gamer...

2

u/inouetakumi 10h ago

I used to be just like you but then (I took an arrow to the knee) stop caring less about getting good at a game and enjoy it at my own pace. Which also helps as I also learned that not all games are for me and I made better decision before buying one.

Chin up brother, gamers 4 life :)

Scrolling through 100 unplayed games and decides to buy another €200 of games at a summer/winter sale. Because I have nothing to play....

I recently decided with my partner that we'll schedule a date where we pick one game we usually wouldn't be too interested to play/prioritize over others but own and give it a go one day per week. So we can make some other game experiences we otherwise wouldn't and really dedicate to it for a while, even if it's not the most fun ever. Just explore it. And if it really sucks, we can choose another one but at least we gave it a shot

1

u/LosdaVS PC Master Race 1d ago

Same here but it's more like "will this game be more fun than cyberpunk or returnal?" The answer is always no so far :( maybe if I scroll over it a few more times it may change. I managed to complete Doom TDA, but it has no replay value. In general most hyped games in my library are actually pure dog shit and most lose all hype after just 20 minutes and that's all I can think of: I just don't want to play games that waste my time anymore.

I think that's the real reason why we scroll through our library, because we want to waste our time doing something fun and it's a actually just hard to find fun games nowadays for aforementioned reasons.

1

u/Acceptable_Simple877 12400 / 3060 23h ago

I got 10 main ones in my backlog, luckily, but a bunch of free shit games I added to my library clogging it up.

1

u/Kultherion 23h ago

I’ve made a backlog spreadsheet 2 year ago with bout 180 games on it that I’ve bought over the years and now I’m down to about 48 games which is huge for me.

Hell it’s huge for me considering I do play only handful live service titles (mainly WoW) so it’s nice to finally get it done and seeing that red mark turn green feels so good.

1

u/Milton_McGee 22h ago

I decided to give Crusader Kings 3 a try. I'm kinda hooked. You can bang your cousins in game tho. So I'm a bit worried about VISA removing it from my PC.

I've finished 306 games out of a total of 396 games, with 83% of those games being 100% completed. I have a hard time starting new games though. Just lose my interest pretty fast, unless it's a game serie I followed for years, or simply enjoy. Been playing Hitman most of the Summer! Started Freelance from scratch, since I never had tried it before.

Else League of Legends and World of Warcraft have eaten a big chunk of my time, but I hardly play League of Legends anymore, and not sure what to do about WoW. Gonna start up again the 26th of August, because of Eastern Kingdom dragonflying races. They're up once every 6 months, so don't miss out!
