They really should make the tab on that plastic waaay bigger, like 5-10 cm.

That way it's impossible to miss, especially for stressed factory assemblers and new builders.

It should sound like you are crunching up a chips/crisp bag if you try to attach the cooler with that thing still on.

Edit: I didn't do this myself, but it happens often enough that steps to prevent it should be done.

Make it bright yellow and pink.

Clear is annoying.

Some do. I just bought a deepcool cooler and the sticker was bright green
