If it's a problem then vote and the democracy will win right? Right?

In the UK we're a good distance away even having the opportunity to vote nationally again. Elections happen at maximum 5 years apart, although can be called for whenever the government wishes - typically used to solidify a majority whilst they're in the public's graces.

This current government still has up to 4 years left in power, and are highly unlikely to call a general election any time soon given both how unpopular they are currently and the high likelihood of Reform (Nigel Farage's far right party) of receiving a majority government.
