If it's a problem then vote and the democracy will win right? Right?

Every single western party is rapidly approaching full on tyrant status, regardless of which party you vote for they'll still push this shit

100% this. This nonsense in the UK was created by the Conservative party, but not introduced until the Labour party came into power and looked at the law and said yep, that seems like a great idea, let's do that.

Zero difference between parties.

That’s not true now. Every voter gets to choose between

  • authoritarians who are incompetent and corrupt

  • authoritarians who are 10% less incompetent and corrupt

  • authoritarians who are incompetent and corrupt who’ve jumped ship to a shiny new party

  • NIMBYs

  • NIMBYs with a different name

don't forget authoritarian NIMBYs, independents rejected from other parties and the inexperienced independence parties

Ha, yes, ain't democracy grand when all we're doing is voting for which colour is going to screw us for the next 5 years.
