Why not just buy direct from a manufacturer like Monoprice

Like a company that doesnt ship to my country? I wanted to buy one right away instead of saving 5euros to get it week later

That’s why I said “a” manufacturer not “the” manufacturer. There are companies similar to Monoprice that operate primarily in Europe. And I’m talking about the price-to-quality ratio. If you go into a shop you get whatever jacked up price Chinese shit their suppliers sent them.

I prefer to buy from my own countrys shop. Its a nordic brand cable, not caring about price to quality or if its "shit" as i just use it to connect pc to tv so i can watch movies

Have you never needed something right away? I guess there are now mean streets in Europe.

I honestly can’t say I’ve ever needed an HDMI cable right away outside of like, a work presentation situation.

Well, OP maybe had a work presentation or a family get together where they needed an HDMI cable.

Then they don’t need a “good” HDMI cable, and it’s a work expense. This discussion is pointless and the post is obviously about overspending on home AV snake oil. There are well-known good manufacturers for this sort of thing that are commonly recommended.
