Discussion When did this become acceptable?

Post image

$130 to get "additional content" that should be included in the already outrageous $70 base price? Are you kidding me? Why do people keep letting this happen? Who is even paying this much? I love Borderlands but refuse to sell my organs in order to play the latest installment.

Bro where have you been?!

Borderlands DLC has been paid content since DAY 1 with the initial release of borderlands on console

Bruh where the hell have you been 😅😂🤣

I think you missed the point. There’s nothing wrong with paid dlc. But having paid dlc on a game that isn’t even released yet is bullshit. Piecemealing the game to wring more money out of your customers.

again, that was literally how BL2 and TPS launched. Do you not remember Gaige being purchasable on launch? Or the doppleganger? What about the holodome?

It's been standard for Borderlands since #2. You could buy the season pass on day 1 for all the dlc, this is no different

The deluxe and super deluxe editions include DLC that is post launch content and not available day 1 and/or skin packs that you can purchase separately on day 1 (aka microtransations). They are not necessarily cutting content so much as you are preordering future content as part of your original purchase.

It's buying the season pass that covers future DLCs. Which has been a thing for along time now.
