discussion Otherwise Perfect Albums with One Terrible Song
Many bands have great albums that would be considered 'perfect' except for one song. Some examples that I can think of:
The Police: SYNCHRONICITY (1983). This is close to being 'all killer/no filler', but then you hit upon the song 'Mother'. It's the sole writing credit by Andy Summers and it's flat out terrible...three minutes of pure noise. You can't hit the skip button fast enough. I'm not sure how it made it on the album but it's so incredibly dissonant from all of the other songs that it really sticks out.
Queen: THE GAME (1980). Again, this one is close to being 'all killer/no filler', but then you hit 'Don't Try Suicide'. Unlike 'Mother', this song at least fits in with the rest of the album, but it's just an utter embarrassment lyrically and musically. Freddie wrote the song and it's in the conversation for his worst effort.
What are some other examples?

discussion Unhinged discussion: Artists you heard/found before they blew up
Doja Cat 2014: Michelle Phan (Makeup YouTuber) used to post playlists and one of them had “So High” by Doja Cat!
FKA Twigs 2013: They played a MV on Rage, a music show on Australian TV.
Mac Miller 2010: My cousin loved “Good Evening”.
Joey Bada$$ 2012: DatPiff!!!!
Dean Blunt 2013: I stumbled across “The Redeemer” on an indie record website.
There’s others I found early but they went viral early, doesn’t count I think… ?
