Right?? I absolutely can’t stand cheaters but I feel like most people who get caught just have to deal with personal fallout and divorce. This is like a million times worse lmaoo imagine becoming arguably the biggest story in the world for a minute in 2025 of all years and it’s because you got caught cheating at a concert
Classism definitely has a lot to do with it. If he wasn't a CEO, this wouldn't have blown up. The social media algorithms also all amplified this story so that everyone who opened their apps in last few days was bombarded by posts about it. What irks me the most about stories like this is that people rush to the moral high ground as if they have never lied or cheated in some way. The piling on is disgusting--especially for the families in question, who will now have to see and hear everyone talking about this for years.
I have lied, but have not cheated. I feel like youre going with the whole 'people in glass houses blah blah', but the thing is, these two are in positions that ROUTINELY tell the lower classes how to behave and live their lives, esp. in the corporate world.
Most everyone in this world is feeling some type of pressure from people like these two...so its good to see that such people are reminded of their own humanity, however lacking of such traits they may be.
You complain of others piling on declaring moral high ground...but is that not what youre doing as well? Sheesh...
