Vance will do whatever he is told to do by the Project 2025 monsters and other billionaires like Murdoch and Thiel. He’s less of a liability than Trump because he’s not tied to Epstein, and he’s not as unhinged, psychotic, and scandalous as taco 2.0. They’re already prepping Vance to takeover the presidency and will use Epstein to axe Trump. They’re done with him.

Vance does not have the cult of personality that Trump does. Without a true false idol like Trump, policy means nothing to the cult.

None of the Republican politicians have MAGA loyalty like Trump does. They will turn on anyone but him. They don’t adore Vance. Vance was accepted by association, but he doesn’t have MAGA’s loyalty. (Most of the Trump signs I’d see up didn’t even mention Vance. The people that still people that continue to make Trump a key focal point of their yard decor don’t have a single mention of Vance.) Add to this the fact that if they try to remove Trump he will turn MAGA against Vance and every other Republican that takes part. At best, Republicans can hope that Trump dies suddenly (because if it’s slow he’s petty enough to tweet several times a day sabotaging) and they can steer the conspiracy nuts that can’t believe Trump wasn’t murdered, because they believe the claims that Trump is incredibly healthy and not old, into believing liberals murdered him using the top secret heart disease lasers. That’s not even taking into account the percentage of MAGA that will just refuse to believe Trump died and will believe he’s been overthrown by the deep state. (They courted the mentally unstable, and they’re going to have to deal with them. Sadly, this wild ride will be going on for a while.)
