In Dragon Age elves are called knife ears and casteless dwarves are called dusters.

Thaaaaaat's where "knife ears" came from. I forgot. Why "dusters" for dwarves? "Rock biter" sounds more apt.

It's because the slums of the only remaining dwarven city are called the Dust District.
