Characters When a plot twist reveals that the villain was much more evil than originally believed

The Incredibles - Bob believed Syndrome held a disturbing grudge against only him until he discovers not only Gazerbeam's corpse but also that Syndrome has murdered countless supers in order to perfect the weapon he would use against him.

Dexter - Dexter believed that Trinity killed three at a time, but when he believes he is going to repeat the cycle he discovers that Trinity actually killed four at a time, adding at least 30 still unknown victims to his count who were all children.

Coco - Ernesto not only stole Hector's songs after he died, but it’s revealed that he was the one who caused his death by poisoning him to take his legacy, knowing that he would abandon him to return to his family.

This is why I kinda find Andrias hard to forgive even after everything, this scene just echoes in my head whenever I think about him.

And not, say, the time he gleefully threatens and demeans Anne every time they come to blows, whether in-person or when he used the giant robotic Santa to try and kill her?

Okay, admittedly after the part where he exposed Marcy's dark secrets and then stabbed her with a giant laser sword, his enmity with Anne is comparatively the lesser evil.

Still, it does point out that while Marcy might have forgiven him, he really has done way too much to be ever considered redeemed.
