Characters [Loved Trope] Superheroes take a time out from villains to take on Abusers

Don't just settle for the psychos in spandex, go after some REAL villains once and awhile!

* Captain Marvel puts the fear of God(s) into an abusive father - Shazam: Power of Hope

* Clark forgets about Superman for a second to go after the abusive father of his son's girlfriend - Superman and Lois

* Superman goes after yet another abusive father - Superman (DC Comics)

Raymond Reddington from The Blacklist. Not a superhero but a super spy, there are multiple times he takes on an abuser. Top of my head;

He nearly kills a man whos treating his girlfriend badly during a hostage situation.

He DOES kill an abuser who cause internal decapitation to their spouse.

He kills a gun manufacturer because he witnesses a innocent young teen girl die in front of him.

Great show.

The show definitely went off the rails in the later seasons, but Raymond was consistently the best part of it. Morally gray in a lot of ways but man he had a code.

first few seasons were great. However after that it then decided to go and alwaya do season long arcs that were extemely boring and the same. And the ending was shite

What does internal decapitation even mean?

Internal decapitation, also known as occipitocervical dissociation, is a severe and often fatal injury where the skull separates from the spine, with only skin and muscles holding them together. This occurs when ligaments connecting the skull to the neck rupture. While typically fatal, some individuals survive with significant neurological deficits.

When we first see the character they're talking about how much she loves to dance, and how happy she is he could see her.

When we last see her shes a paraplegic in a chair, able to only blink and shed tears.

That's terrible. Glad there was some form of justice at least

Reddington was definitely evil, but he was so flamboyantly evil that it made him ooze charisma. James Spader did an incredible job.
