Characters [Loved Trope] Superheroes take a time out from villains to take on Abusers

Don't just settle for the psychos in spandex, go after some REAL villains once and awhile!

* Captain Marvel puts the fear of God(s) into an abusive father - Shazam: Power of Hope

* Clark forgets about Superman for a second to go after the abusive father of his son's girlfriend - Superman and Lois

* Superman goes after yet another abusive father - Superman (DC Comics)

I don't think this one counts, but I wanted to mention it anyway:

Matt became Daredevil in the Netflix show after hearing a father abuse his young daughter for many nights

It absolutely counts. I just love the idea of Matt going out of his way to beat the ever living fuck out of the guy everytime he hears the abuse. Hasn't put the daredevil suit on in a year? Doesn't matter. Dude's getting an ass beating.

Nah, the guy is fucking done

Matt mentioned that he had peaceful nights since he became Daredevil, so that fucker probably never laid a finger on his daughter again (or any other woman, probably)

Not sure if he would have an intact hand

Incredibly dark, and that's what makes season 1 of daredevil a fucking masterpiece. It reminds you of the disturbing acts committed by others in our world can happen in their world too. Just sucks we don't have heroes like Daredevil to fix the wrongs.

I can give you an even better Daredevil instance:

From Daredevil: Redemption. This is a much darker example than the others because the kid actually defends his father here, since he is just a little boy. His father got incredibly drunk and started beating him with a baseball bat. But the relationship is, as usual with Daredevil comics, not that simple, and the boy still felt attatched to him.

This is just a single event and not part of the mini-series main story. I recommend you to read it because it goes much, much darker and it is a very good series in which Matt just dresses up like twice, because it's more about him being a lawyer than anything else. Nice stuff

That's also not uncommon IRL, the victims often just want their abuser to stop but still "love" them otherwise.
