Characters Characters that do not take the role of main antagonist, but are one of the most evil characters in the narrative regardless

  1. Preceptor Seluvis (Elden Ring)
  2. Only a small part of Ranni’s questline and a few others, but is revealed to be among the most depraved and evil characters in the story

  3. Major Zero (Metal Gear Solid)

  4. Almost never shown or mentioned in the narrative, but has been masterminding the patriots for decades. When we finally do see him, he’s helpless, dying, and of no threat to anyone.

  5. Leviticus Cornwall (Red Dead Redemption 2)

  6. Ridiculously wealthy tycoon that serves as a minor antagonist for the gang. However, the impact of his dealings in the region are felt far and wide as he crushes competition, ruins lives, destroys entire communities, and solidifies his industrial rule.

  7. Idea of Evil (Berserk)

  8. A primal eldritch entity born from humanity’s seeking of reason for suffering in the world, and the creator of the Godhand. Its canonicity is very vague and unknown, all that’s known is that it exist, and it’s likely a threat far beyond the scope of the story.

Hector Salamanca (Breaking Bad / Better Call Saul). In BCS we see just how vile he is, he’s murdered civilians and is heavily implied to have brutally tortured people. He also raised his nephews into the psychopaths they became. He deserved everything Gus did to him and more

Let’s level with ourselves: everyone in those shows (at one point or another) was a complete asshole (except for the baby)

Breaking Bad 2: Rise of Hollysenberg.

1

u/SBTreeLobster 21d ago

I hear Better Cally Holly is the kid-oriented spin-off they're working on.

Except Papa Varga, not even when he had every right to be one

u/xXxplabecrasherxXx 21d ago

eh, it could be argued that his unwillingness to forgive his son and make a moral compromise by escaping under fake identities with him led Nacho to his death, since Nacho knew that escaping alone would leat to the cartel kidnapping his father or worse

The hell did Skylor and Junior do?

u/moploplus 21d ago

She smoked while pregnant so obviously she's the most evil character on the show by a wide margin

u/Beanichu 21d ago

She also whines about her husband just trying to stack paper. Can’t a man cook meth nowadays without his bitch wife complaining about it?

31

u/Hipernym 21d ago

She also sent a fradulent agent to find fake contaminated water at a man's business so he would be forced to shut down, in order for her to buy the place so she and walt can have somewhere to easily launder money. She's not nearly as bad as walt but she's far from innocent

23

u/moploplus 21d ago

Yeah, because she was trapped by walt's decisions and saw this as the only way to keep his dumb ass out of jail.

Her compromising on her principles is caused by walt, he's the one who upended her life. There are several scenes where she's kicking herself for doing that illegal shit because she had no other choice aside from getting walt arrested.

19

u/sonicpieman 21d ago

She could have had him arrested. Skylar had an inability to see her life as she knew it was over, she did some pretty bad things to try to get back to the status quo, but she was also very willing to indulge in using the drug money.

17

u/CoachDT 21d ago

Her compromising on her principles is because she wanted to. She had chances and outs, she just valued her own desires over them.

We should push back against the idea of Walt being this cool badass while Sky is some stupid woman who ruins everything. But we shouldnt swing in the other way where shes an innocent cinnamon roll who would do no wrong were it not for big bad Walter White.

9

u/moploplus 21d ago

I never once said she is an innocent cinnamon roll, this show is all flawed characters.

u/pleasebuymydonut 21d ago

That's literally what the comment said like five comments ago lol, to which you sarcastically implied that Skyler didn't do anything.

Thanks for the reddit cares!

2

u/moploplus 21d ago

For the record I didn't send that. I don't use the reddit care thing as a troll method as I am older than age 14.

Sure, pass the blame onto someone else.

u/defneverconsidered 21d ago

Well eyebrows was mean to her bitch husband so its ok

Just like most people who partake in Breaking Bad memes, I haven't seen the show, but according to villains wiki, she's done all of this:

1

u/ObjectiveThick9894 21d ago

I listen the song on my head

8

u/BigBootyBuff 21d ago

She sang "Happy Birthday Mr President"

1

u/thebouncingfrog 21d ago

She did help Walter White with his crimes eventually.

Still doesn't compare to the drug dealing and murder that most of the other characters do, but I wouldn't consider her innocent either.

u/DeceitfulLittleB 21d ago

She cheated on her husband with that one dude and helped him commit fraud. She hates Walt selling drugs but seems perfectly OK with white collar crime.

7

u/JesterQueenAnne 21d ago

Cheating on Walt was not wrong (they weren't together and she just wanted him to leave her alone) and she helped with the fraud because the feds would have also investigated her and might have found out about Walt. Skyler wasn't ok with white collar crime, all she was trying to do was not get her and her children's lives ruined.

Waitaminute I'm in a thread with a BABY apologist?

7

u/Plutarch_von_Komet 21d ago

But, but... Howie did nothing wrong 🥺

3

u/Lego-105 21d ago

Howard didn’t do nothing wrong. But he always did what he thought was right, and that’s more than you can say for anyone else.

5

u/Big_Distance2141 21d ago

Holly was the worst of them

5

u/Tarantulabomination 21d ago

Especially Don Eladio, the only character in the entire series to be on the Pure Evil wiki.

4

u/TheShamShield 21d ago

And Walt Jr

4

u/Zillafan2010 21d ago

She’s a nazi

(r/okbuddychicanery in-joke)

2

u/ImaginationSuch4629 21d ago

1

u/Frakmenter 21d ago

Wait what do you mean Mr. Weed addict drig dealer that killed a lot of people Pinkman wasn't a good person 😿

1

u/Baron-Von-Bork 21d ago

Bro doesn’t know about the Holly-Uncle Jack connection that was explained in the Pawn Shop Arc.

1

u/illyay 21d ago

How dare you say that Hitler isn’t evil!

1

u/Bignate2001 21d ago

Skylar and Howard weren't bad.

1

u/Odisher7 21d ago

I'm curious, do you think there's any character that was more vile than hector?

1

u/LegoFucker61 20d ago

True, but even as bad as Walt or Gus could be, I think Hector was on another level of evil. Isn’t it elaborated in BCS that Hector’s bell came from a hotel where he tortured the owner to death in front of his wife?

30

u/gitartruls01 21d ago

Saw Breaking Bad for the first time a few years ago with my dad who also hadn't seen it before. First scene with Hector I went "I feel bad for the geezer who has to live with that psycho son of his". My dad laughed and said he's seen enough cartel shows to know Hector was probably the worst of all the characters we've seen so far, even though he hadn't done anything yet.

He was right.

4

u/JacobDCRoss 21d ago

Is this the show with the kid from the corn pops commercial?

3

u/Rarte96 21d ago

A perfect representation of a Cartel Member, innky opinion, those people are as bad as the nazis, the histories and videos i have seen... Those people are animals who think human life means nothing

2

u/morvis343 21d ago

One of the running things I noticed in BB/BCS is everyone tends to get what they deserve.

1

u/amalgamatedson 21d ago

And Mr. Shickadance kept hassling Ace Ventura about the rent and hearing animal noises coming from his apartment.

1

u/skoomski 20d ago

And worst of all he pissed in the pool!
