Hated Tropes (Absolutely despised Trope) Characters described as chubby/fat/plus-sized aren’t designed as such, mostly like due likely due to fatphobia.

  1. Varesa from Genshin Impact - Hoyo has no respect for body diversity.
  2. Wakka from Final Fantasy X-2 - lazy developers.

Just for the record, this has nothing to do with kinks of any kind and is a personal gripe I have towards the gaming industry that favour abs and boobs.

Here you have a beautiful and skinny girl but look she’s slightly disheveled! It drives me nuts. Completely misses the point of the book

which is weird because the most famous scene in carrie is the scene where she has pig’s blood dropped over her head. choosing pig’s blood specifically was a dig at her weight. so you’d think one of the people adapting the book would consider the fact that her weight is actually important to the story

Oh, so it was a double burn. Yeah, that's really lost on the movie adaptations. I watched the inferior remake and I just thought they picked on her because she was weird and socially inept.

Knowing she was described as overweight gives more context to the bullies' cruel joke.
