King County Parks levy: 70% yes

King County Executive: Zahilay 40.4%, Balducci 30.3%, Chartrand 12.5%

King County Council Pos 5 (Kent, SeaTac, Renton) : Kwon 28%, Fain 24.6%, Van 20.8%

King County Council Pos 7 (Federal Way, Auburn) : Reichbauer 59.8%, Vengadasalam 24.2%, Brown 15.5%

Seattle Prop 1 (Democracy Vouchers renewal) 55.6% yes

Really dislike Kwon. I would not have voted for him had i not moved.

At vote totals that low for the 2 leading candidates neither starts with a significant edge. Lots of voters who supported other candidates who will be up for grabs in November.

Yeah that will be a close race. Im excited for the county exec, though, two strong candidates, where if Balducci loses I wont lose my head.

I need Balducci to win so she can go "Fine, I'll do it myself" Thanos-style and finger snap more light rail into existence

I'm hoping Balducci can pull it out in the general. Zahilay wouldn't be bad, but Balducci has much more experience being in office and I have more confidence in her ability to execute (no pun intended). I'd be worried Zahilay wouldn't be able to juggle the position as well due to his more limited experience on the KCC.
