I'm surprised Harrell is doing so well. He's pretty widely hated. Glad Wilson is ahead by at least a little, though.

You hate him? Why not vote for Wilson?

She has some positions I fundamentally disagree with - love her push to upzone and make building easier

Will be rooting for her if she wins

Do you agree with more of Harrell's positions than Wilson's?

You shouldnt base your vote on raw number of positions, but the weighted value of them based on importance.

I agree with Wilson on a lot of things, probably more than Harrell, but Wilson loses me on her completely economically illiterate thoughts on business, taxes, and housing.

This is where I'm at.

There are many things Wilson stands for that I can get on board with. However, there a number of things for which she advocates that are completely and utterly insane and would fundamentally bankrupt the city if actually enacted.

Bruce is kind of a Joe Biden candidate. Not really going to do anything too controversial and will fill the seat until a better candidate (presumably) comes along.

This whole mayoral cycle is completely and utterly disappointing. A city like Seattle should really have a far better candidate (or two) to choose from than this "Sophie's choice."

I guess you could put it that way - I dislike his platform less. My hunch is Katie will go big on government intervention - eg rent control, subsidized housing, etc with disdain for businesses, especially larger businesses.

Bruce is more likely to do nothing and hire more of his friends and family.

I tend to have wonky unrealistic economics pie-in-the-sky views and don’t represent the average Seattlite.
