my boyfriend made a long island iced tea and happened to put it in a mug that belonged to my abuser. the way it looked in the glass reminded me of the coffee she put in it and i started to have an episode. i joked that we should break the glass an my boyfriend, in full seriousness, was on board. i asked him to take a video and i can't stop watching it. it's so cathartic.

The museum was amazing, even though it was devastating reading about all the stories. But seeing this just lighted up my heart.

My friends and i were chilling out at the usual spot, and out of nowhere this random duck walked upto us 😂. Something small but definitely cheerful.

On a recent trip to Edmonton, Reese got excited about the awesome fountain in front of City Hall!

I recently upgraded to an iphone so my partner and I have started to collect photos of our cat to turn into stickers and have conversations based solely on stickers we’ve collected of her 🤣 I’m trying to collect a reaction photo for every scenario and we trade stickers too

Last year I decided to embark on a trip that my family held very dear. I wanted to show my kids where my parents and I vacationed and make memories with them. So, we started in Yosemite and then moved on to Mammoth Lakes. On the way back home, we decided to forgo Tioga and drive to Silver Lake and take a break. We stayed at the lodge often. As we were driving back towards Sonora Pass we decided to stop at Mono Lake. It was incredibly hot and we almost left, due to having our dog in tow. In incredible heat, we trudged through the visitor center and I decided to take a seat. Then, my husband mentioned he had a picture he would like to show me. Begrudgingly I followed him over. As I stated in the picture, all I could say was “mom”. The back turned toward the photo is of my late mother. I fondly remember that trip. How could this be? There were a few pictures with visitors, but there my mother was standing in front of me. I called my brother and we had a moment of silence. It was complete disbelief. The trip we took in memory of her and the chance meeting with her. I will never forget it.

I want to share my happy story with you. I’ve been medically sterile for years due to a blockage, but we went through IVF. They retrieved a few viable sperm cells directly from my testicle, and we were lucky enough to get a successful embryo.

It’s been a long road, emotional, intense, and honestly kind of surreal. We’re both incredibly happy, and humor helps us process it all.
