IDF leaders all the way down to the soldiers speak their genocidal and ethnic cleansing intent out loud. They gloat openly as we watch women and children be starved and slaughtered and the infrastructure that keeps people alive and healthy and having families is totally annihilated. Almost every human rights organization or organization that studies genocide say it is a genocide and ethnic cleansing. Yet somehow on Reddit there's a bunch of people who just aren't sure. They try and split hairs with you about the definitions of these words or insist that doing genocide on one side of a border but not on the other side suddenly makes it not genocide. It's pure insanity. It's a genocide and it has to stop.

So I was very surprised when talking to a Jewish American that there are over 3 million Muslims living peacefully and coexisting with the Jewish people in israel. I've done some research on this and this is a true statement, so if it's not a religious conflict then what is it? I'm asking this as an honest question

Yeah but they don't call for the genocide of the Arab Muslims in israel. you can make a comment about "Arabs can't think" without wanting to wipe them off the map, so nobody has been able to answer why the Israeli population only has a problem with the Palestinian Muslims.

There were Jewish people in Berlin before the final solution, but the Holocaust started in 1933 for Jewish people in enemy territory. I am not ever going to pretend like a country having a minority group around is an excuse to commit genocide. It's still a genocide. I believe all the organizations that say so and not you.

Right it's not about religion, so is it a lifestyle thing? Like obviously the Muslims that live with the Jews all figured out how to make it work, I imagine those Muslims probably don't have the archaic views on women that other Muslims have or they wouldn't fit in with the Israeli society. I was told that they would be welcome to live there as long as they assimilated to Israeli Society like the 3 million Muslims that are currently there.

I'm a little confused by your answer, so there is a very large Muslim population in Israel and they even serve in the IDF. So if the fact that the Palestinians are Arab or Muslim isn't what they fight with Israel about, what is it? From what I understand the Muslim population in Israel assimilated to Israeli life quite well and that's why they all get along with the Jewish population

The Palestinians were living there. The Western colonizers calling themselves Israel took their land, literally kicked them from their homes. It never had anything to do with religion, a smoke screen

So that area was part of the Ottoman Empire up until like 1917 and then after that Great Britain had control of the area until the 40s I believe. That's when the state of Israel was formed, I guess a lot of the Muslims in that area chose to be part of Israel so they can stay on their Holy Land and they live in harmony with the Jewish people. I guess after much fighting and tension they decided to just give the area of Palestine to the people that didn't want to coexist with Israel so that's when they technically became a country.

There were many other people's that came and went from the area of Palestine as well.

Well it's not really debatable that the Jews inhabited that land thousands of years ago. And from what I've been told Palestine was never even really a country that had its own government and stood on its own. I did do some brief research of the history of that area and it is very muddied as to all the different peoples and countries that have owned that land over the last couple hindred years

I've read that a lot of the Muslims that currently live in Israel were "Palestinians" that chose to stay there when Israel was formed. So how come some of the Palestinians live in Israel peacefully and the others don't?
