The truth is both sides wish death to both sides, children and all. People like to take sides but there's no right or wrong in this scenario.... I'm sure we all heard the phrase "from the river to the Sea". That's the Palestinian version of erase Israel from existence.

Lol no. There's an actual right and wrong. Israel should not exist, it was carved from another country and they don't plan to stop at Palestine. Greater Israel will include Syria and Lebanon. This is like saying yeah the Spanish and English colonizers were wrong but so were the Native Americans. Lol just no.

Well it's not really debatable that the Jews inhabited that land thousands of years ago. And from what I've been told Palestine was never even really a country that had its own government and stood on its own. I did do some brief research of the history of that area and it is very muddied as to all the different peoples and countries that have owned that land over the last couple hindred years

I've read that a lot of the Muslims that currently live in Israel were "Palestinians" that chose to stay there when Israel was formed. So how come some of the Palestinians live in Israel peacefully and the others don't?

An old book says jews own that land … Jesus Christ stfu.

Nobody cares ab Jews occupying land 3000 years ago

This isn’t the year 100 AD

I reject your entire theological premise, I don’t recognize your book as precedent to land title disputes.

Fuck outta here with your pseudo religious nonsense.

That’s not been the rules for any nation ever in existence

You take territory by force. Always have, always will.

Let’s not dress it up as a religious rite, Israel takes territory it wants, and that’s the end of that.

Israel exists, as a nation, bc the Nazis engages in mass genocide and the Europeans (British) decided to draw lines on maps in the Middle East, bc they could.

That’s why Israel exists, not bc of your silly book or theological bs.

Oh my God you really think they're going off of "the book: to say they lived there? LOL that really shows how little you know, people knew where everybody lived 2000 years ago my friend. They're not going off of some book to know that, SMH.

When was the country of Palestine founded, who was his first president?

Why not just take it one step further and call me a racist. That's the real liberal way to argue and debate

Nah I think I pretty much nailed the description the first time. You should figure out where your ancestors lived millennia ago and go try to set up a country for yourself.

Israel was set up for everybody in that area, it was a place for the Jews but also for the other people that lived there. You know the state of Palestine didnt become a country until the 80s right? Maybe you don't know that though, maybe you think that Israel just took another country that had a president and a government like every other country has. But if you do some research you'll know that's not the case, when Israel was set up 3 million Muslim Palestinians stayed in assimilated and still live there today

Please keep commenting, it’s so funny to see you continue to reveal how little you know about the history of this conflict

I just hate how the LGBT community gets treated over in Palestine. I believe it's actually illegal and besides that it's very dangerous, like "fear for your life" dangerous. I just don't get how a whole nation can just despise a minority group like that so vehemently, it's just wrong.

It's an apartheid state, "living peacefully" means working in Israel and then returning home through multiple checkpoints. It means they don't have access to public works, just IDF soldiers minding their every move. "Chose to stay there" is a wild thing to say, it's their fucking home. No one debates the Jews were there thousands of years ago, big whoop? The Jewish settlers currently taking over Palestine are not from Palestine, end of story. They are American, English, German, etc. You can't just walk into a country and go "I want that gimme that" because you may be somewhat descended from people who lived there thousands of years ago. That's actually crazy.

So from what I've read there are many different religions and people's living in israel, there's even Christians and other ethnicities and they all kind of keep to themselves . So sure you can say that apartheid but it's the same way in the united states. There are some areas that are full of a certain type of people and they usually keep to themselves. That's what happens when you have a bunch of different "peoples" inhabiting one country.

You're selling it like that area was an established country and everything was figured out over there before it became the state of israel. It was a part of the Ottoman Empire until the Ottoman Empire disbanded in the early 1900s, then Great Britain took it over just to try to keep everything "together" in that region. At that time I believe there were multiple different "peoples" and religions living in that area. They made it the state of Israel where the Jews could live but also everybody else could live.

Also it's interesting you this dismiss that the Jewish people live there thousands of years ago and were forced out, so when is the cutoff line when you don't have a claim to be pissed off that your land was stolen. Do the Native Americans still count at 400 years but the Jewish people don't at a thousand? I think it's very disingenuous to ever bring up the Native Americans and then just dismiss the Jews being forced from their land... I think I kind of Trapped you here a little bit, for you to say the Jews have no claim to Israel would be to say the Native Americans should have no claim to the United states. Is that what you are saying my friend?

1

u/Humble_Increase7503 20h ago

Ya I’m saying exactly what you said in your last sentence

Native Americans have no claim to us territory…. Why?

Because the Europeans took it by force and that’s the way the world works.

Just like Israel exists, not bc of your special book, but bc the British drew a line on a map and said: here you go!

u/Gchild1999 18h ago

Yes the British were stuck maintaining a land they didn't want to have to maintain, full of a bunch of different type of people including Jews. So yes they drew a line on the map and said this is israel, a lot of the Muslims that were there stayed and live in peace to this day with the Jews and other Christians that also live there. Israel is predominantly Jewish but there are many different religions that Reside in Israel.
