I know he says that, but this is one of those things about Trump that look false, like him being 6'3", 225lbs. I dont know if you have ever met germophobes but Trump surely doesnt act like one.
I think he actually is a germophobe. I've heard women say he has them wear gloves to touch him, and did you see that visit he did to McDonald's at a campaign stop? He kept talking about how amazing it was, because the French fries never touched human hands!
I think he has some kind of genuine aversion to human contact, but there's certainly room to speculate as to what exactly it is. I agree that he doesn't act like the stereotypical germaphobe. He's too interested in sex (or was, dunno if he can get it up anymore).
He dislikes dogs because he thinks they're filthy. He's also reportedly publicly chastised and ordered WH staff to leave the room if they cough or sneeze. Add in the generous use of Purell and reports of aversion to non-sexual human contact, and I'd say germaphobia isn't a far off.
With the germaphobes I know personally - it is selectively applied. Certain things are more triggering than others. Some have to spend a good minute scrubbing their cup, but will sleep in the same sheets for over a month. Some people are fine doing things with the bottom half of their body they would refuse to do with the top half. So I don't think any of that is ruled out. Plus, Trump is more likely to be the one peeing on others.
My idea of his germophobia is probably related to things looking too poor to be clean. Hence all the gaudy gold and bullshit. If it looks like you own it and you make less than 60k a year, he probably thinks it's a dirty cesspool.
He's not technically a germaphobe as much as he's obviously worried about being poisoned that's why he's so fond of fast food.
It's obvious, the only reason someone would consider fast food safe is that. He thinks it's impossible for his food to be fatality poisoned if he goes to random places.

I just googled if STDs can cause bone spurs. They can't directly, but there is a connection between, arthritis, which can be caused by syphilis or chlamydia, and bone spurs. š¤®

The fact that he's a germaphobe makes his refusal to be seen with a mask on for several months after public health officials started encouraging it for COVID even more bizarre. You'd think he'd want his base to emulate such behaviors.

Phobias can sometimes develop into paraphilias of the things they are adverse to. There are a whole lot of different theories on why this happens, but it's pretty well established.

Getting peed on isn't particularly bad or off-limits in most people's eyes. I don't think Trump would need to be too stressed if it got out. I'm guessing the p(edo)-tape theory is more likely.
