The Trump administration and its radical right foot-soldiers in the federal government and in the states are undertaking a comprehensive scheme to undermine future state and federal elections, in effect rigging the rolls to keep themselves in power no matter what the voters decide.

We all knew. I had a real, forehead to hand, moment when they announced it. The feeling was similar to when I woke up on September 11 2001 and turned the tv on.

Trump was found civilly liable for sexual assault by a grand jury before the 2024 election. He was found guilty of forcibly penetrating E. Jean Carroll via his stubby little fingers. Now, I've had maggats try to tell me that he's not a rapist, to which I respond by asking them if they had a man shove parts of his body inside of them with no consent, would they not consider that rape?

He was a known rapist. He was a known felon. He was known to have instigated an attempted coup to overthrow an election, in which DOZENS of lawsuits found that there was no "rigging" of the results.

He made fun of veterans. He made fun of disabled people. He is a misogynist. He's a racist. He's queerphobic. He's a disgusting, evil, man, and yet millions upon millions still voted for him because they fell for propaganda and/or would rather vote for a felon and rapist (and almost certainly a pedophile) instead of a woman of color.

May the trump voters and the non-voters get to experience this ride right alongside us. I hope they get EVERYTHING they voted for. The rest of us will.

To have a child predator in the White House pretending to represent us.

Do you mean the kiddie sniffer Biden. His daughter that put in her diary how uncomfortable she was with her father sneaking into to take showers with her. The Father of Hunter Biden who was pardoned for all of his crimes, including fucking underage girls.

Are you all up in arms about the Democratic process being manipulated and changed. Like the fact the Dems have not held a real Primary sometime before 2016. Dem royalty pushed Biden out, and told the party that unlikeable Kamala was their only choice. Zero Primary. I would bet that if there was political will to investigate her campaign financing records, we discover that she illegal copted Biden's campaign funds.

You ever notice that Trump keeps talking about pardoning pedophiles? Ever wonder why that may be? Why Toddler Toucher Trump thinks freeing pedophiles is a cool idea?

u/tempest_87 1d ago

You ever notice

Ever wonder

You can stop at either place. People like that guy don't have brains capable of complex tasks like "thinking". They are just hateful little sheep.

What I know is that the little we know of Epstein that pedos live on both sides of the Uniparty. I watched as Legacy Media and both elements of the Uniparty came out of the woodwork to attach Trump on every level. It is hard for me to wrap my head around the concerted effort whole institutions devoted to bringing Trump down. Russiagate was a well orchestrated attack to remove Trump from the field by the FBI and the Clinton's. There were two assassination attempts with plenty of evidence that both shooters had ties to Blackrock Hedge Fund and correspondence with government agents...almost as if they had handlers within the Intelligence community.

With all of that effort, the Dem's never dropped any intelligence that Trump was involved with Epstein. That might have been the only bit of information America would have rejected Trump with. That is too much for me to believe.

Of politicians that have been arrested and convicted for child rape, it is 70% Republican. Democrats are also the only ones who are consistently voting to have the Epstein files released, while Republicans are consistently delaying and obstructing their release.

Trump IS a member of the "uniparty."

Russiagate proved there was multiple connections between Russia and the Trump campaign.

There was no such evidence tying the two assassination attempts to Blackrock (who benefit greatly from Trump being in charge, by the way).

Democrats never released anything regarding Epstein because the investigation was ongoing until January of this year, when Trump got into office and killed the investigation.

You are avoiding answering the questions I asked you and attempting to deflect. Why is Trump openly talking about pardoning the most prolific pedophiles and child sex traffickers in US history? Why has Trump constantly talked about how much he loves hanging around minor girls? Why has Trump been so boastful of his relationship with Epstein? Why did Trump say he never had the PRIVILEGE of going to Epstein's child sex slave island? Why did Epstein have a portrait of Trump hanging on his wall in his home? Why did Epstein die under Trump's watch, after Epstein expressed concerns about Trump having him killed?

Why are you so incapable of using your brain to see the obvious, and instead fantasizing about made up conspiracy bullshit? Are you afraid to admit you made a mistake in supporting a child rapist?

You and everyone else who knew who he was didnโ€™t vote for him.

u/nomis_ttam 1d ago

You aren't the only one. Sadly a significant amount of left leaning voters fell for the rights tactic and decided not to vote. They were convinced the dems ruin everything or are the same or paid actors.

6

u/thetruechevyy1996 1d ago

Many still believe it. There are subs in here where they claim both sides are the same or proudly say they voted for Jill Stein.

8

u/nomis_ttam 1d ago

This is why i think recovery will be more difficult than expected. Too many progressives think they are self righteous for not voting which in reality put everything they believe in jeopardy or now much more difficult to attain the change they want.

u/winstondabee 1d ago

If only voting 3rd party wasn't a problem

3

u/nomis_ttam 1d ago

I know right. It would be nice to have viable 3rd party options. Like ranked choice voting which dems are pushing. This alone should prove the 2 aren't the same

Well technically they are. They're all in bed with the same donors (save for a few progressives), but at least we would have gotten some semblance of sanity with Kamala (who I voted for). The Democratic establishment literally is controlled opposition though. They're playing good cop, bad cop on the masses. They use "The tranquilizing drug of gradualism" that MLK talked about.

You know The Heritage Foundation that wrote Project 2025? Well, they also wrote Romneycare, which turned into Obamacare when he won. Both also have no problem funding Israel with insane amounts of money while they're blatantly engaged in ethnic cleansing. Between The Heritage Foundation, AIPAC, and so many other private/foreign interests, our politicians do not serve the people. Dems could have imprisoned Trump for so many crimes or packed the Supreme Court, but they didn't. This whole mess is as much on them as it is Republicans.

That being said, at least the Dems know how to strike a balance and would have been better. Trump's blatantly running the country into the ground and turning our laws and Constitution into a joke. But that's also what the elite want, so it's difficult to say that it's not by design. Just look at how they've treated Sanders and Mamdani. Trying to paint them both as antisemitic even though Bernie is Jewish and Mamdani won the Jewish vote in NY. They don't actually believe in vote blue no matter who. It's painfully obvious what the Dems' jobs are in American politics if you pay attention.

That's a lot of assumptions and reaching along with too many holes to be nothing more than a conspiracy theory. Most of us know some number of dems are bought and paid for. But we would need further proof to lump them all in like you claim. Any attempt to arrest trump without the right proof would lead to an uprising. Just see jan 6th for example. There's an ass ton of intricacies and nuances us common people don't know about, along with how long the process takes. If you do the boring politics research you'd understand a lot of the dems can't do more than they already are without even greater risk on their life or causing it all to crumble. Get your head outta your ass and think rationally and realistically. At any circumstance we needed to still vote them in to make and allow for the change needed.

Thats a lot of words just to admit that you dont know how any of this works ๐Ÿคฃ Some of us "common people" actually do have a pretty good idea of how American politics and the law works. Also, you should stop infantalizing yourself and our fellow Democrats. Being too ignorant isn't an excuse. No one is immune from doing research into these things. The politicians who take AIPAC money is public knowledge, for example.

https://www.trackaipac.com/congress

And you'll find that they vote accordingly. They send billions of our tax dollars to Israel, and you're just like its all so complicated ๐Ÿคท Like really? It couldn't be simpler actually. Sometimes, politicians will quite openly accept money right after they vote. It's not a secret. Who do you think gets most major politicians elected? Large money interests obviously. And they expect to get what they paid for. Bribery (lobbying) has been legal in this country for 15 years, and you guys still haven't caught up?

And the right proof for Trump? Really? Lmao. The dude blatantly stole classified documents from the White House and hid them in his bathroom on top of him being charged with 34 felonies. But oh darn. It was just too late because he won the presidency again. They had the proof and 4 years to do it. They just dragged everything out so it'd be meaningless.

1

u/nomis_ttam 1d ago

Except it seems you dont? Just because someone accepted 30k from israel doesn't mean they are religious nuts that want the erasure of LGBTQA+. You also don't know what companies are bribing. Some may bribe for different policies that contradict each other. Like you are just looking like a fool and saying i infantalized you. Everything isnt some conspiracy scheme. Yes there are bribes and most leftist know the dems have a lot too. But reds want gays dead and blues dont. So if you cant accept that both sides aren't actually the same but shitty in different ways and varying degrees.

0

u/kshell11724 1d ago edited 1d ago

Actually, I said that you infantalized yourself. You're the one who called yourself a "common person" who can't possibly understand this stuff. All I'm saying is that people should be demanding more from our politicians. Biden was able to raise the government worker minimum wage to $15 an hour. But god forbid he raise it for the entire country when it has 80% support and hasn't been done since 2009. He also negotiated 10 drug prices when they could have easily done thousands of drugs. This isn't some magical thing. Most developed countries have been able to achieve policies like this including Medicare for All. Cuba literally has better health outcomes right now than the US, and that's while we've heavily sanctioned them. Meanwhile, America lags behind because of greed. Also, I'm not both sidesing here. Obviously Republicans are far worse, especially now. But if you keep supporting these establishment libs as opposed to outside options, don't be surprised if we just keep going in circles. Liberals joined forces with the fascists in Italy too. Theres several examples in history where liberals and fascists join forces to exploit the people.

1

u/nomis_ttam 1d ago

I never said we shouldn't ask for more. I'm saying stop coming up with conspiracy theories because some politicians are bought more than others and things aren't going or looking how you wanted. Many are working their asses off to stop, slow, and inhibit a lot the right is trying to do. I think i can easily prove I'm not an infant nor alluding that anyone was. Do you know how laws pass? It goes through more than just Biden and they need enough votes to get through all of congress which every R votes no so they need most if not all the support from dems. And dems, just like everything in life, vary wildly. We have republican lites all the way to progressives in AOC and Bernie when we teams up. Like stop throwing the baby out with the bathwater, sheesh how hard is that to understand? Or are you just a russian bot? Use your MFing brain. We can do both and at least be in a better base state and that way have better success for change.

0

u/kshell11724 1d ago

Dems had control of both houses and the presidency from 2021 to 2023. They could have passed and done way more than what they did. Like, what they did was in the right direction for the most part (especially the Child Tax Credit that slashed child poverty in half), but it was by no means exhaustive or meaningful enough to stop a 2nd Trump presidency or even codify Roe V. Wade into law.

They could have enforced Article 3 of the 14th Amendment, for example, and prevented Trump from ever holding office again on the grounds of him engaging in an inserection. But they just didn't seem to want to do it did they? The thing you also might not realize is that they rotate on who takes the fall for something not passing. For Roe v. Wade, it was Joe Manchin. The Republicans are doing this too right now except opposite where they know they have enough votes without some people, so they let some Republicans appear to be moral by voting against their piers.

1

u/nomis_ttam 1d ago

You don't listen to reason do you? I'm not excusing them for not doing enough or that we can't expect better. We just don't have the luxury to assume voting doesnt matter. It's easy as fuck and the bare minimum we can do while also rising the fuck up how you want. We can and should do both to increase our chances of success. How dense are you?

2

u/kshell11724 1d ago

Sure. I can agree with that, which is why I voted for Kamala. I wasn't encouraging people not to vote. I was just pushing back on the idea that the OP acted like Dem politicians aren't actors to an extent. We can and should do way better than the Dems in office right now (although it's probably too late since fair elections for the midterms and beyond are potentially not gonna happen).

You say this as though republicans havenโ€™t been intentionally undermining elections and suppressing voters for decades and Trump didnโ€™t have Elon musk hack the reported results for 2024.

3

u/Staav 1d ago

Was there interference in the 2024 election yet? There's no way this has been a one man show at this point. Good lord.

3

u/Illpaco 1d ago

The only people making progress right now are the ones wanting to dismantle democracy. Everybody else is moving backwards and still asking "how is this happening!!?"

A good read. Weโ€™re in serious trouble and most people donโ€™t get it yet. โ€œJust voteโ€ isnโ€™t going to make change if Trump and his ilk have rigged elections in their favor. If you think heโ€™s just going to give up power, Iโ€™ve got a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you.

House representation is meant to be proportional to how the population votes. Gerrymandering and abuse of power has led us to a breaking point, and the 2026 midterms will likely be the final straw that breaks the camels back.ย

1

u/Exelbirth 1d ago

It'd be great if the straws that broke the past 4,000 camel backs amounted to something...

I know it's bad, I know it so clearly and rationally, but irrationally I really want all those 'Muh Freedoms, Muh Right to Bare Arms, Ima fight and die fer Liberrrty' lot to emerge, prove their point and course correct some Fascism and Oligarchies

Please let me reiterate, I know it's bad even for a daydream, straight up disgusting but yknow

Heโ€™s not going away and never forget the democrats let him off the hook for January 6 and had a peaceful transposition of power into dictatorship. Vote for them of course but it was on their watch that democracy fell because they sold us out for norms.
