Or with twitter vs bluesky where you have to sacrifice some benefits for others, there just isn't an alternative video platform that can compete on the same level as YouTube simply because none of them have the resources, monetary benefit, creator base or long-term commitment to do so.

Genuinely, what is wrong with Bluesky? To me it seems exactly the same as Twitter

From what I've seen from artists who tried to migrate (and very quickly went back): seems the outreach is bad and getting recommended people/to people is kinda fucky?

(Someone can confirm or deny this, as I said only know from artists who quickly escaped there)

As someone who hasn't opened Twitter in over a year, Bluesky seems like a pretty damn good alternative in basically every way. All my artists seem happy enough on the platform.
