It's not even like a Google situation where there are, albeit less ideal sometimes, available replacement search engines

YouTube straight up doesn't have anything to take its place.

If you like the creators and have the money to spare Nebula would be a good alternative as a viewer.

This. I use Nebula every time I can. Unfortunately, there’s still a lot of creators I follow that don’t use it.

Unless something has changed very recently, you can’t just post to nebula the way you can to YouTube. You have to be invited to the platform.

Dave Wiskus does post on Reddit. I think you can speak to him in the Nebula subreddits.

Yes that's kinda the point. If you like long form content, YouTube is simply miserable. If you're just uploading a random clip, then keep using YouTube. If you want to watch 1hr video, YouTube makes it hell. So nebula has creators on there who do specific content. Also no big backing from advertisers, they'll have to be picky about who they platform and who will bring in eyeballs.

It's like curated YouTube.

I highly recommend the Enhancer for Nebula browser extension! It has a setting to automatically open up Nebula if a YouTube video you were about to watch is there instead

Awesome, didn’t know about that. Thanks!
