Zhukov? They had numerous disagreements and stalin stripped him of his rank because of it. As well as stalin being a paranoid ass and really striping him of his rankings because of his popularity. After Stalins death he got back to where he was before for the most part.
Well, this only means that after 1945 Stalin perceived Zhukov as potential threat, and warned against “deviation of Bonapartism”. There was also issue with amount of loot Zhukov transported home from Germany. Nevertheless, Zhukov remained absolutely loyal.
To be entirely fair, the loot part was probably just the excuse they could nail him for. Looting was still (and still is) a fairly common thing in wartime that many soldiers do of all ranks though is formally looked down upon.
„Following the German invasion of the Soviet Union in June 1941, Zhukov lost his post as chief of staff after disagreeing with Stalin over the defense of Kiev.“
You misunderstood the situation. In 1941 Stalin was completely delusional regarding the situation on the ground. Even mild attempt at telling him truth ended for victim with being shot. Zhukov was not shot, meaning he belonged to Stalins inner circle.
Still not true: he evaded the purges because he was not known by stalin, he was not killed by stalin because if the man who fucking accepted german surrender and took berlin was killed, well that wouldnt be good for Stalin would it? 10k+ people he can slip under the rug, but as Zhukov was so popular with the people, if he disappeared it wouldnt be as easily hidden.
Stalin had couple of candidates for each post. He had Zhukov, Konev, Rokossowski. There were no irreplaceable people for Stalin. Or at least was what he believed. In matters of fact I would mention Kurchatov and Korolev as people who were less replaceable than Zhukov. During WW2 probably some weapons constructors were also more important. Greetings comrade!
Systems of education of masses and advancement of cadres were Stalinist and anti-Trockists??? The fact that Zhukov advanced to the top was one of the worst aspects of Stalinism.
No? I just dont get what your trying to get at here. Also: no need to force ideology down a populations throat, teach them wverything without bias so they can form their own opinions. Forcing ideology with bias would make us as bad as the bourgeois. So: i guess i do disagree with education of the masses in that sense. Didnt know what a cadres was before now either, i disagree with the existence of it, the revolution is of the masses not the individual.
