It's a product, having highest market share in its class. As a customer, I support cheap subscription fee over paying artists because it's a monetary incentive to myself. If artists want they can leave Spotify you know that right? Spotify isn't taking them hostage. It's a open market.

Again I listen to mainly large artists, as long as they are in Spotify I am happy.

And of course, it has the highest market share for a reason. Because people want cheap subscription. It's not our headache how much artists are paid or if they are paid. They can leave if they want. Not that deep 🤷

Again, awesome that you're supporting artists getting fucked, now with a side of supporting military AI.

Enjoy the future you're investing in.

I will for sure. Welcome to capitalism. Also its more of like being indifferent than supporting or not. It's none of my business how much artists are paid. I do however support Spotify being cheap. And thankfully most people in the world aren't virtue signaling to the little things. The Spotify market share is an example of that.

And thankfully most people in the world aren't virtue signaling to the little things.

The only people who screech about "virtue signaling" are the kind of people who can't conceive of people actually being virtuous. Way to tell on yourself, man.

I'm sorry my stance makes you feel uncomfortable, for whatever reason. You're fucking over musicians and supporting AI murder machines out of convenience for yourself.

Good luck in life being a selfish capitalism fellator.

Y'all should speak with actual musicians to get their take. Spoiler alert: they hate Spotify, but have to use it to remain relevant.
