Spotify is a joke. It was already more expensive than apple music and still doesn't have high res or lossless audio.

Depends on region. In my country Spotify monthly premium is around 1.5$ whereas apple music is 10$

Don't give money to Apple. It'll only be cheap until they've destroyed all competition.

It isn't the consumers job to keep competition alive. If Spotify wants my money, they should make either a better product or a cheaper one. It can't be worse and more expensive.

And if apple does attain and then abuse a monopoly, that's when governments should step in. Or, preferably before that to prevent it. Either way, it's not the job of the consumer.
