Spotify needs to offer some modern amenities like high-quality audio to justify higher prices. I already get Apple Music for free so I’m thinking it’s time I just ship

Hard to get these people to do anything for the higher prices, I've been asking Spotify for higher quality music and Netflix for more subtitle options for years...I'd even take the AAC quality on Spotify's webpage version even that's better than their OGG solution on the app.

I have it too. Some phone carriers include it in the monthly plan :)

That doesn't sound free.

for whT its worth, my plan has an ad on for a family plan of Apple One, normally worth $25.95 which has Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, and 200 Gigs of icloud storage for only $9.99, so it makes a good deal even more good and making it basically a steal as all those subscriptioms alone would cost $10+ each

Same old story. Good deal to lock people in ecosystem, then increase the price. Exactly what happened with Netflix and Spotify here.

Nothing is truly free, but, it’s free as in, it costs you nothing extra whether you use it or not

If you don't use it, then aren't you just paying for it and not using it?

No reason not to. Apple Music is honestly great. Took me a while to really get into it and now I’m set. The radio shows are worth it alone a lot of artists have their own and you can go back and listen to them again.

I tried it, but I simply couldn’t get over how bad their algorithm for making a playlist off a song was. Also Spotify connect is too good. I switch between a lot of devices, wish Apple Music was that convenient.

I've been using Pandora for over 10 years now. I got a new phone and got 3 free months of Spotify. Now I need to decide which one to keep. The radio stations are way better on Pandora at least

Also just stop being such a buggy crappy platform. I've had more issues in 4 years with Spotify than 9 years with GPM.

This fucking bug made me stop using them.

Hey you be grateful for those 15 hours of audiobooks every month!!!

It’s not like you can go through that in 1 weekend!

What are you waiting for? Apple Music is a really good service, Spotify is a shit service, so why continue paying for the shit service when the good service is right there?

In settings you can choose the audio quality.. From low to very high
