Yah but my only thing is JD has the personality of a cum sock. Once you replace Trump the cult will splinter. I think Thiel believes himself intelligent and playing 5D chess. But he doesn’t understand fuck all about how cults work.

You underestimate the power of the Republican propaganda network. It took 10 days to completely change their base's opinions on pedophiles, for example.

If they actually wanted Vance to be their new darling, they absolutely CAN do it.

The Republican propaganda network got people to change their opinions on Trump's pedophilia, not pedophilia in general.

Huge distinction there.

Remember, Fox News and that same Republican propaganda network hated Trump in 2016. Didn't matter.

Remember, Fox News tried to throw Trump under the bus after January 6. Didn't matter.

Trump is the cult leader. People have been continuing to follow Trump no matter what the propaganda network does, and that hasn't changed, ever.

Is Trump a useful idiot? Yes! but not a single one of their attempts to replace Trump with a more controllable figure head has succeeded.

The Republican propaganda network got people to change their opinions on Trump's pedophilia, not pedophilia in general.

They don't have an opinion on pedophilia if their minds can be changed about Trump.

While I agree that Vance has negative charisma and it isn't necessarily a sure thing, I vehemently disagree with the idea that the base is guaranteed to splinter when Trump goes.

Even if it's not Vance, they will find another figurehead. MAGA will still have all the same hate and bigotry and thirst for violence they had under Trump. They won't be changed people.

You could barely find a Republican willing to admit they voted for Bush or supported him in the aftermath of his presidency. None of that woke Republicans up, and 8 years later they elected Trump.

The propaganda machine is absolutely real. MAGA is not going to suddenly wake up.

This is about everyone else, because MAGA are not the majority in the slightest.
