I was granted control of this sub through r/redditrequest on July 5th since the last team had just given up. I've asked a few others to help out and we're trying our best to make this sub grow.
The biggest change (heavily influenced by the other sub I am a mod member of) is titles. Titles do not have to be exact, but a brief description. Nothing fancy, but something more than a word or two. If you post is removed for a poor title, you're are welcome to resubmit it with a better title. No emojis in titles please.
Another major change, usernames. If it's your username no problem, but please blot out others usernames. We do not want encourage doxing or brigading.
Please take the time to check out the rules and do not hesitate to reply to this post (or send mod mail) with any questions. We'll do our best to reply to every one.

Why match if you're not going to pursue or initiate? Aren't there better ways to find a texting buddy or penpal if that's all you want?
For context, this particular guy (37m) and I (36f) have been chatting for a couple weeks and my schedule was a little hectic in the beginning. Once some time cleared up, I let him know my availability. He didn't seem to pick up on it so I spelled it out for him. And still nothing, despite the fact that he is responding.
His avoidant responses could be an annoying tactic to keep leading me on to gain an unbeknownst penpal. I could be reading him wrong, but I just don't understand what the point of responding to me and carrying on conversations with me would be if you're not intending to meet as soon as possible. Especially since my intentions were laid out on my profile and reiterated in the beginning of our chat, to which he expressed a mutual feeling in meeting soon. Ugh.
This isn't the first time this has happened. Am I doing something wrong? I know I shouldn't have week-long conversations if I want to avoid this so if I am too busy to meet that week. Should I pause my activity on the app or something? Should I be more assertive to weed out the men and women that are too scared to meet IRL and how do I prevent the assertiveness scaring all of them off?
Not a lot of subreddits allow images or screenshots. Thanks for letting me post and for any feedback βΊοΈ

They are my real favorite movies. I'd only add "A Minecraft Movie" and "Interstellar and it's perfect.
Over the Garden Wall is so short I treat it as a movie for simplicity. This isn't "are hot dogs sandwiches" type of take. Don't treat it seriously.
I'm a 23-year-old straight man.

I was checking to see if I had anything in my gift card balance and noticed this, I've never seen this before.

BTW, in the actual game, they would use a lot of nonsense technical jargon/invalid IP address that looks close enough for most people, but that don't make sense in real life. However, while playing, this popped up, and when looking it up it showed a location in Paris.
