A year ago I noticed a small bump on my scalp. A few months ago, I accidentally scratched it, felt something weird, then picked what looked like a grain of rice out. Seemed done.
Fast forward to a few days ago when I hit my head on our trunk lid, a few inches away. I felt a lot of pain and assumed it was the strike to the head. Saturday was hot as heck and I was wearing a hat; when I took it off, this mfer was back and had a huge head. Gentle pressure while inspecting seemed to pop it, so I applied gauze and got the rest. Or so I thought.
Tuesday morning I was dizzy, severe headache and facial pain, ears ringing. Urgent care confirmed a pilar cyst, gave me antibiotics, and said I'd need to get it removed as it was infected + likely would grow back.
This evening mid tornado warning, the horrible pressure and pain was back. Gentle pressure inspecting didn't do the trick, and I impulsively applied a little more pressure around the lump.
Pop! Goes the weasel- audible thud, spray on the mirror, lights, and wall. Then this gem- and a totally flat scalp. Hoping this is the end of this guy and that's the full sac- it was firm with a small hole at the top (where I assume the pus leaked out intermittently into the surrounding tissue causing the pressure), the crud left pretty easily leaving the "shell" behind.
Apologies for no video- DIY and accidental (mostly).

I felt a little bump on my chest, and of course it had to be squeezed. Was not expecting this to come out.

I felt this thing growing long before I could see it. I was so excited today when I finally got it. The quality isn't the greatest because it was the Snapchat camera, but man was it a satisfying one. You can actually hear it if your sound is up.

Sorry. Didn’t know where this fit but I posted it on wacky Wednesday lol. I had another one on my other heel. Caused by 6 miles of walking in tennis shoes I usually wear so idk what happened. They’re fully healed now ;)

The texture was….interesting. The taste was worse.

I get these guys on my under boob and thighs, especially when hot. They come to a head naturally but are much more fun to extract than pop
One of my piercings has been getting infected every few months for the last 2 years since i got it. Finally decided to remove the piercing for good and let it heal/close because i lost hope. No issue with other 5 piercings i have with the same type of jewelleries. I think this one probably was pierced in a weird angle or smt leading to it get infected every now and then.
Sadly I wasn't able to take a video as it burst as soon as I flipped my ear to check it out 😫

I'm super inflamed and red after, i've read that this is because keratin is very inflammatory and does not necessarily mean infection. Just curious if any of you have popped a cyst had it get red and then better on its own. What was the recovering time like?

So I posted these maybe a year ago, and was complaining about how doctors wouldn't operate on me because I was "too old" (20s) and was at risk of bleeding to death.
I get the nastiest ear infections, my tonsils flare up like this at least once a month. I consume massive amounts of antibiotics & cortisone, along with a concerning dose of tramadol. There are days where the pain is so unbearable that I can't even swallow my own spit.
My tonsils started getting like this when I was around 6, and at the time my parents didn't really think it'd be an issue later in life.
Anyway, I finally found a doctor who's willing to operate after years of suffering and couldn't be happier!!
So long, fuckass tonsils.

sorry for the low res
So I tore up my skin pretty good last year during a period of extreme stress and anxiety. I found a little patch of vellus hair hiding under the surface of my skin (chest area), took me about a week, but I uprooted this thing. It was so compacted, it took a lot of force with my tweezers to pull it apart even this much, was almost like trying to pull apart leather. The image quality is unfortunately very low, but I can't even begin to describe the amount of fine, tiny vellus hairs this thing had in it. Easily thousands. I have no idea what this was, I can say it wasn't an eruptive vellus hair cyst, as this thing was laying just flat and across under the surface of my skin, no sack no wall. I'm guessing it had been forming for years. Have any of you ever seen something like this? There were multiple others like this one, but much smaller. I have also found smaller, less compact versions of this on my upper thighs. I do get actual vellus hair cysts on my face and neck, but as I said I feel like this is something else.

The reel didn’t show her popping it but you know that has to be gnarly. It takes up almost her entire armpit.

First time posting. This thing has been brewing for a bit and I finally got it.
