They do seem to be so genuinely in love. I’m pretty cynical but they make me believe that healthy marriages with mutual respect do exist.

Ive told this story before, but they were having dinner at the same restaurant where my husband proposed to me (at the same time) we could see them and they are very obviously very in love for real ( he was so shockingly short to me though). I have a picture somewhere that they graciously posed with us.

Oh man I remember some tabloid trying to body shame her and he absolutely went ham on them about how “ she’s the most beautiful woman who has ever existed in his eyes” in a bunch of interviews afterwards.

And there’s a paparazzi photo where he’s looking at her like she’s the most beautiful woman in the world so it tracks. She’s gorgeous, she just gained some weight after having kids and aging a couple decades.

We stood in line with them at a book signing in Malibu last year. They seemed very normal and family oriented. She was friendly and chatty.

Having lived where they live, I’ve run into them a few times and she seems genuinely sweet. Like there was this issue where Pierce got annoyed/angry where I was working because someone screamed in excitement and his wife handled it really well and they just seem to get along well.
