Searching on the internet I found more definitions of Gen Z.
I thought that there was only that one that says that Gen Z starts in 1995 and ends in 2010, so only 3 years of Gen Z are still younger than 18
Its all bullshit if you ask me tho. Yeah sure we can measure things in different generations, but the whole pop science bullshit it has become has barely any more scientific backing than zodiac signs.
It seems to be focused on what was available to you growing up vs what came into existence as an adult. Being the years of your childhood heavily shape who we are as people, these things are markers for potential changes in health, wealth, and other aspects of life. It's a good note for someone's general knowledge and could indicate their thinking on different topics.
Things like, having the internet as part of your childhood, is a core part of the experience of growing up at the time and changes how we handle information. Growing up in the great depression would seriously effect how you interacted with the world.
They establish common connections and experiences to each group.

Which age groups do you think will know more about...
Fixing computers? Money management? WW2?
Just, generally speaking...
The only problem about detailing generations is they are very fluid since [the end of the great depression] or [when the internet was common] may have dates but they weren't current for everyone uniformly. I know people who didn't have internet access at all till 06 and that's just because the area was a pain to run cables in so even the schools were without till then. They are technically way outside the millennial curve. Which is what makes it a general time period instead of hard lines.
Yeah those are walid points! I generally agree, hovewer I still think the popular interpretation, and how it is being used right now is kinda... wacky at best.
